Misleading and the Customer Service is terrible.
Claims right in the App Store that it removes ads from “ALL APPS” yet it does NOT work on YouTube. They charge you $25 more to block ads on apps.
Spoke with the developer and they sent laughing emojis and argued instead of making it right. “That’s the power of getting an ad blocker from an independent dev” someone who is crude, shady and misleads their product until they get their money .
All the 5 star reviews are for people only using it in safari. You can see there are hundreds of negative reviews about their claims.
If you want to use this on YouTube or other apps DO NOT pay for this get Ad Guard which I use now and works. And it’s cheaper

Great Ad blocker for Safari
The app blocks a lot of ads out of the box. For more complicated and persistent cases Wipr Extra can be activated for those sites to get rid of ads and annoyances.
Best thing, you can send reports about things not working as you hope it would and the developer will quickly get back to you and fix the issue.

Restore Purchases Not Working
I have no problems with the ad blocker. Everything has been working perfectly. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen a website bypass the ad block. However I did purchase the new Wipr Filtr but for some reason it was removed from my phone. So when I tried to restore my purchase, it wouldn’t recognize that I previously bought it. Please fix it. Thank you.

Ultimate set and forget that actually works

More or less the best app that money can buy
Hate ads in general, and especially on mobile? This blocks essentially all of them for you across the board, with very little input or tweaking needed by the end user. Simply worth every penny.

Incredible. I’ve used many other pop-up blockers, and Wipr is the only app I’ve found to be the most effective on my phone. It delivers what it promises, and I love how it’s not a subscription service you gotta pay yearly or monthly (it’s just a flat one-time fee). I highly recommend paying the one-time fee, because the cost is worth it for all the years that ads will be blocked on your phone.

Simple... too simple for me
I like the idea of this and the URL filter implementation of Filtr, but the lack of configurability makes this app, alas, not for me. You cannot configure which domains this blocks, only turn the blocking on or off.

Grundsätzlich bin ich ja bereit, Werbung zu akzeptieren, wenn ich dafür einen kostenlosen Account erhalte. Aber das aufdringliche Blinken, laufende Videos etc. nervt dann doch zu sehr so dass ich mich für wipr 2 entschieden habe.
Auf vielen Seiten in Safari ist es deutlich ruhiger geworden mit der Werbung. Auf der Seite von ntv kann ich aber zB keine Videos mehr abspielen. Hier kommt die Meldung „Gerät erfüllt die Anforderungen für den stream nicht, Gerät oder Browser wechseln“. Ich befürchte, derartige Nachrichten werden öfters kommen, wenn die Seiten sich auf Wipr 2 eingestellt haben…..

Took a gamble
Actually can’t complain it cleaned up allot of sites I’d normally use. No longer going through the usual reject, saved and reject. For the price it’s less than a pint. Cheers
