About
Troubleshoot slow connections with ping, DNS, port scanning and TCP/UDP throughput tests. WireProbe brings local test services and exportable results to your iPhone and iPad.
CHECK THE CONNECTION
See round-trip latency, packet loss and jitter. Query DNS records, scan TCP ports and trace the route to a target. Use the connection timeline to inspect DNS, TCP, TLS and response timing.
MEASURE THROUGHPUT
Run TCP upload and download tests or UDP echo tests, with live charts and detailed metrics. Connect to an iperf3 3.x server for TCP or UDP upload and download.
TEST BETWEEN YOUR OWN DEVICES
Run built-in UDP echo, TCP echo, TCP throughput and HTTP services on one device, then test from another. Bonjour discovery and QR pairing help you connect devices on your local network. These built-in services use their own test protocols; the iperf3 feature is a client and requires a compatible iperf3 server.
REPEAT THE TEST. KEEP THE RESULTS.
Each tool remembers its last target, port, payload and options. Revisit local history, export individual reports as CSV or PDF, and export your history as JSON. Useful when checking a connection before and after a network change.
BUILT FOR FOCUSED WORK
One-time purchase. No subscription, ads or account. Supports 30 languages, light and dark appearance, iPhone and iPad.
PRIVACY AND TEST REQUIREMENTS
History stays on your device until you choose to export it. WireProbe has no analytics or tracking. Network tests send traffic to the hosts and services you specify. Local Network access is used for local tests, the built-in server and Bonjour discovery. Optional public IP lookup contacts api.ipify.org.
Built-in servers run while the app is in the foreground. The local HTTP test service does not use TLS. iperf3 multi-stream and server mode are not supported. Test results depend on the selected network, device and endpoint; MOS is an estimate.
