New Format Not Useful
It pains me to write this because I have been an avid user and cheerleader for the old version of the Wise Pilgrim apps. I have purchased and used the apps for the Frances, Ingles, Portuguese, and Primitivo. Thankfully the old format was still in use for my Camino last fall. I’ve recently tried to use the updated version when planning my upcoming Primitivo and I am very frustrated. I will no longer recommend the app and will try to find something else more helpful for planning. I will probably still use the downloaded maps while I am walking.

Cannot Import From Planner to App
Used this on Frances 2 years ago. Now for Primitivo: I can enter everything at wisepilgrim.com in ‘planner’ but; when place link in app, it is not what I planned. Tried different browsers, different emails; same problem. Awful.
Useful but it has its issues
Navigation across the map, the list of cities and elevation maps could be better implemented.
Overall it was useful. The elevation map location did not correspond to the location.

Perfekt für den Jakobsweg
Ich habe von diesem Anbieter alle Apps der Jakobswege und bin knapp 8.000 km mit diesen in Spanien und Portugal gewandert. Die App ist übersichtlich und sehr einfach zu bedienen. Zudem gibt es regelmäßig Updates mit Verbesserungen. Ich bin Begeistert und kann diese nur empfehlen.
This desperately needs updating
The app is good except it is in dire need of updating. There are comments in the app about bars that no longer exist and accommodation that is new and not shown in the app that is more than 2 years old.
Distances comically inaccurate
Format of the app is wonderful. It lacks information about alternative routes (there are many) and albergue/food information could be updated.
In the offline map, distances are often inaccurate up to 5km, on one occasion after the Frances joins, it is off by over 20. This makes planning difficult.
The route for the offline map is mostly accurate- some stretches being on trail that the app shows as along highways. I assume it was created via bike.
Would give 4 stars if the distances were accurate.

Missing accumulated distances
Looks to be comprehensive but it doesn't show the accumulated distances along the route.
