Mir gefällt die App sehr gut für die Navigation. Es wäre sehr toll, wenn diese auch eine Funktion fürs Fahrrad hätte, sodass man sehen kann, wo man mit dem Fahrrad lang kann und wo besser nicht. Des Weiteren fehlt mir eine Option um Aktualisierungen melden zu können. Denn teilweise stimmen die Preise nicht mehr oder die Herberge hat komplett geschlossen bzw. hat nun andere Öffnungszeiten. Wer könnte dies besser melden als die Pilger:innen selber.

Can’t really be trusted.
If you need an app to follow the route or check your location, it’s no worse than the other apps available, none of which are as reliable or as up to date as gronze.com
But anyone reading user reviews should understand Wise Pilgrim is not keen on unfavourable reviews of the Albergues. So much so, my honest, negative review of an Albergue now reads as though I am recommending it.

Perfect Camino companion
Have just walked from Seville to Salamanca. The app was great for planning upcoming stages and the map was invaluable in making informed choices when way markers were scarce or confusing. Well worth the money.
Minor bug: the app tends to crash if you select an off route place as your starting point. Not a big problem as my starting points were generally on route but it would be nice to have the issue fixed.

Great App for all Pilgrims
Really have enjoyed these apps for my Camino’s but I’m doing the VDLP and the elevation map stops at Salamanca and I can’t get it to go further up the route. How can I address this issue please?

Ich habe von diesem Anbieter alle Apps der Jakobswege und bin knapp 8.000 km mit diesen in Spanien und Portugal gewandert. Die App ist übersichtlich und sehr einfach zu bedienen. Zudem gibt es regelmäßig Updates mit Verbesserungen. Ich bin Begeistert und kann diese nur empfehlen.
Its good but
I have just completed the VdlP and this app was invaluable. Excellent information - it wil never capture every albergue or bar! A couple of gripes - firstly the app kept crashing and then restarting most times I went back to it from another screen. Secondly, the ability to comment on albergues is excellent but I think many users dont do this as they never scroll down the page to see that it is possible. Please make this more prominent and also enable the abilty to commetn on other things such as places and that way we could add info about bars and new albergues.

I used the Camino Frances version of this app when I walked from Pamplona to Santiago last year and found it really useful. I'll be walking the Via sometime soon and will be taking this app with me for sure. I will be starting in Cadiz and would love to see this stretch of the route (Cadiz - Seville) added in; I'm sure there are plenty of people setting out from the coast.
