Iconic switch Bluetooth

This app only works with my switch if I take my phone and stand next to the switch, which kind of makes the Bluetooth idea worthless. We paid a lot of money for the switch too.

Greenhalgh

Excellent technology.

Slow replay

Sometimes won’t pick up movements even though we know at that certain times there are people entering our yard. Also would be nice if the notice duration can be controlled as it is quite annoying that we have to wait until it goes away before we can get things done as it is in the way

Quality and simplicity

Good quality on the mechs and functionality,
Good for sparkies and homeowners

Make’s annoying sounds all night

Didn’t come with any contact information for when it’s not going right. several times one camera has dropped out for weeks or months then starts working again. Makes annoying sounds all night

Glitchy

Very glitchy trying to connect. Often need to restart the app.

A Wiser home

Great product, very easy to use with multiple options & functions. Suits my needs perfectly and would recommend it to anyone looking for smart home automation that’s affordable , easy to use and reliable. The only thing that lets it down are the Wiser cameras.

Very average

Very clunky, better smart systems out there, Ikuu is far superior and easier to navigate.

Still no Apple HomeKit integration

It’s very frustrating that this app, system and architecture allow Apple HomeKit in the EU market but it hasn’t been switched on in Australia. Why?

Bluetooth

A little disappointed with the consistency of the Bluetooth connection on iOS. Sometimes fails to connect when only 1m away.

Apple HomeKit support in Australia missing

This desperately needs to be integrated with apple home kit - available elsewhere no reason it can’t be brought here, step it up.

Wiser home automation

We built a new energy efficient home that is all electric. We installed solar panels, home batteries, EV charger and brought an electric car. As part of our energy management we installed wiser home automation and have been very pleased with the stylish looks of the Clipsal light switches and power points, the wiser has been the best choice affordable, easy to use and so convenient allowing us to control lights at home and remotely. We can control lights to suite what we are doing like making dinner or dim lights to watch a movie, automatically turn lights on and off at set times saving us time and money.
Great choice for any build or renovation.

iPad display issue

Amazing app however the app only displays landscape and not portrait which is a pain because my iPad that controls the whole house is mounted on my wall in the portrait position.

Lock screen rotation in settings doesn’t work for this app.

Wiser Hub

Had issues with this system for a year
When it works it’s good
Ours doesn’t work correctly
Great electricians have tried every fix to sort it out
Supplier refuses to acknowledge there is a fault with their product
Would not recommend this system as support from Clipsal is rubbish

Apple

Needs iPhone integration

Love the app but

Please allow moments to be added to iOS 18 widgets. Before on older iOS it was available but now it’s not on the newer iOS.

Was good. Could use my phone like a quick remote via swiping right and it would be there. Apple say it’s the app developer to make it available

If you can… that would be so helpful. As I used to use it everyday

Slow to update

Firmware updates to smart switches are painfully slow. Over 3 minutes for each individual switch!

Multiple logins not allowed

If you sign-in on another device, it logs out of the other device(s). So you can only have it running on one device.

Kind of ridiculous for what is inherently a smart-home device that will be used by multiple household members.

Review

I would prefer to see a video of each notification instead of a photo

Too many taps

This app should not require so many screen taps as it does to simply turn the lights off or on. The basic functionality is okay and the connection is reliable, but one should be able to have instant access to the offer and On functionality.
