User reviews

Seems to work now

I purchased a year subscription because the first time I listed an item, it identified a price drop that basically covered the cost. The there were issues with Amazon Prime Day discounts not being reflected — but the developer was very responsive and fixed that issue quickly.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! The Amazon Prime Deals should start being detected in version 1.4.3 that should be available in the next few hours. Regarding the other case where the item’s price is wrong, reach out to us via e-mail with the product’s link. We’re constantly improving the app’s detection heuristics and will happily look at it. Regards, Paulo

Great idea, design inconvenient

Love the general idea of this app and it’s one of the best options of its kind. So I’m willing to pay for it, but I hope that the UI/UX will get some improvements in the future. I love that it works on both my MacBook and my phone. But the synchronization doesn’t work properly unfortunately. I need to update/add the product to favorites/group it several times for it to even appear on my other device. It’s easier to synchronize from my MacBook to the iPhone than the other way around for some reason. It’s very tiresome that it’s not possible to move several products or grouped products at once into a different list. Love the group together feature, but it’s super inconvenient that all groups unfold when you select a product and it jumps to somewhere else in the list. So you need to scroll for ages to find your selected product again and the group you wanted to add it to. Because now it doesn’t just show the 10 groups that you made but all 300 products in the 10 groups. The design could also be better. It’s not a very organized layout. I don’t need the product picture to be that huge, I would prefer to see the prices of the different options I am tracking in the overview instead and not just the main price. For example, if I track the price of a perfume and the main selected option is 30ml, but I also add the price of 50 and 100ml to track, I’d like to see all 3 prices directly in the overview and not to have to click on each product to see them. It would also be great to have a graph to display the price development instead of just the tracked numbers. It’s hard to see if it’s the cheapest price until now at first glance when you have to read all numbers. Even better if we could switch between the different sizes/colors in one product and see their price development as a graph. It’s also not possible to edit the automatically picked price/option when it recognized it wrong. Sometimes it doesn’t ‘see’ the discounted price or you have to click some ‘apply discount code’ button first to make it visible, so it would be helpful to be able to manually edit the tracked price selection.

Edit: lol I guess my review jinxed it, now I can’t open the app anymore at all🥲

Response from developer

Hello, Thanks so much for such an extensive review! Here are few comments: The synchronisation should “just work”. There should be no need update/add products to make it work nor should it make any difference the direction of Mac to iPhone or vice versa. Please get in touch via e-mail, we can ask you for some logs that can help us discover what the issue is. The scroll issue with opening/closed grouped items is known. It seems this is dependant on the number of items, scroll position and OS version, as we cannot reproduce it all the time. A more data-centric list view as opposed to the current more minimalist view focused on product images has been requested before, and it’s on our TODO list. There’s already a graph with the price evolution in the product’s details. Editing a picked up price is also on the TODO list. Discounts where you need apply a coupon or add to card are not supported. The app currently will not be able to pick those up. Looking forward to hearing from you via e-mail. - Paulo

badly broken

i tried adding an item for app to track. it worked. tried adding a second item. app went spastic and window was continuously flashing and would not stop. bad bug encountered in the simplest possible test. needs improvement.

Response from developer

Hello, I haven’t received any similar feedback. Would love to know more about your setup, if you could please reach out to us via e-mail that would be great. Regards, Paulo

Thx so much for your support.

Thx

Very unhappy

The app works in a very weird way , if I travel the app change the product price to the coin of the country I’m traveling. That is not helpful at all .

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. The issue is related to how the site hosting that product handles requests from different countries. For example amazon short link will redirect the user to different page (using potentially different currencies) depending on where your are. This is something that may warrant a workaround in the future, but it’s a very niche use case.
