This app can be a little slow and basic but honestly it does what it needs to and recently the updates have been making good improvements! And honestly easier to use than my partners far more expensive Nextbase app!
Not worth it
This dashcam is a complete hassle. If you use the USB port, you have to manually power it on and off every time, or it will drain your car battery. On top of that, you’re forced to download the WitCam app and connect to its WiFi just to use basic features. You even have to press record every time you get in your car. Plus, the videos don’t even save the majority of the time once recording is complete. It’s made of flimsy plastic and feels incredibly cheap. Save your money and get something better.

Yes. The app is trash and will not connect to an iPhone. Connected when I first installed the system to my car but not anymore. Trash. Likely returning.

Witcam
The camera is great but I found out the witcam app doesn’t work with iPhone only android that I tried on my girlfriend’s phone she was able to see the videos and everything I was about to give up and return it but I decided to try another app that was separate from witcam for any iPhone users having this issue the app is called “OKCAR PLUS”
I connected and works perfectly as it would on the witcam app I was about to see pictures, recording playbacks. Thanks for nothing witcam and thank you OKCAR PLUS!!🫡

No matter what you do, you cannot get the phone to actually connect to this cameras WiFi. Plus their attempt at translating the instructions to English is laughable. Trash product, trash app.

Waited in my car while parked in the garage, to connect to my household WiFi. After 35 minutes of waiting I gave up.
Here’s the caveat: you must connect to WiFi, in order to start/complete the installation process…. In looking at the many issues of connectivity relative to an incompatible OS, or flawed production process, I’ve returned it..
To the developers I say- FAIL!

Good App
Honestly, looking at all these reviews got me scared, but when I listened to instructions I got it working just fine. I can control and download any video from the camera and I can do play backs and everything. I give it 5 stars
Do not recommend
Camera works fine but if you want to buy one that will work with your phone, buy something different like a nexar. App is fake and doesn’t connect to your phone at all!!! Such a scam and waste of money, definitely returning it for a better one.
