Care circles are easier to start and join. The setup flow now clearly separates starting a new circle from joining with an existing family code. Invited family members can join directly from an invitation link, while people joining with a code receive clearer guidance about requests and approvals. Your progress is saved if you need to step away, and returning to the app brings you back to the right place. We improved phone verification and sign-in recovery. Build a more useful care profile from the beginning. Add care type, care setting, medications, allergies, emergency contacts, healthcare proxy details, insurance, pharmacy information, mobility, dietary needs, language preferences, faith and cultural preferences, and more. Add what you know now and come back to the rest later. The profile flow is more flexible and better at preserving your answers. Care team management now better reflects the people involved in real-world care. Choose roles such as Doctor, Nurse, Aide, Therapy, Social Worker, Faith & Spiritual, Legal & Paperwork, Family Meeting, or Other. Add contact details, describe what someone helps with, and record their usual visiting days and time windows. Search, filter, review, edit, and remove care-team members more easily. Appointments now capture more of the details that matter. Choose Doctor, Nurse, or another appointment type, add the reason for the visit, and include the provider’s name and specialty. Record whether the visit is at home, virtual, or in person, along with a meeting link, address, or phone number. You can also prepare by saving questions, concerns, and notes ahead of time. Date and time selection is smoother across devices. Medication management is clearer and more reliable. Find and add medications faster with improved search, helpful suggestions, and clearer dose, form, and strength options. Medications added during setup now carry over into your medication list, where you can finish adding details later. As-needed medications appear in their own agenda section without being incorrectly marked as missed, while medications scheduled every few hours appear as individual doses on your daily timeline. Missed-dose reminders now better match your actual medication schedule, so you are only alerted about doses that were truly due. Repetitive medication alerts are grouped into clearer summaries instead of creating a flood of individual notifications, and tapping a reminder takes you closer to the information that needs your attention. Your daily tasks are easier to prioritize. The Home screen puts tasks assigned to you first and keeps overdue unassigned work clearly separated. When there is nothing open to do, helpful prompts guide you toward adding a task, care team member, appointment, or care note. Optional tips now guide you through the Home screen and key caregiving tools, making it easier to understand where things are and how to get started. You can replay the walkthrough anytime from Settings. Within Reach also opens and loads care information faster, with fewer stuck loading screens when signing in or returning to the app. Notifications and family updates refresh more reliably when new activity arrives. We improved accessibility and everyday usability throughout the app, including better support for larger text during sign-in, verification, Home, scheduling, care profiles, and Settings. Calendars, forms, keyboards, and date pickers are easier to use on smaller screens. Apple Sign-In and verification-code issues are also handled more reliably. We’ve strengthened account and data protections behind the scenes, because your family’s care information deserves to be handled with care. You also have more control over optional anonymous diagnostic reports, which can be turned off in Settings.
