Not user friendly
I deleted this app and it was still sending notifications to one of my emergency contacts. This app too simple and not user friendly. If you have more than one emergency contact, it doesn’t indicate which contacts get notified. I wanted to be able to assign different contacts different days of the week to get my checkin so not one person was responsible every single day for receiving my checkin. This app is not the sophisticated.

Easy, Simple and Fun
WithMe is an easy and fun way to stay in touch with family and friends.
As a senior, I use it to check-in with my daughter every day. If I don't check-in, WithMe alerts her that something may be wrong, and lets her call or text me with a single tap on the screen.
But I also enjoy WithMe as a whimsical way to let my fiends know I am thinking of them by sending emoji and sentiments which they can simply appreciate, or readily respond to if they wish.
Before its latest upgrade, WithMe was a great way to assure concerned family members that I was OK.
But now, WithMe not only does all that, but also provides "one touch" mutual communication about moods, emotions and friendship.
I love it.

This app an easy way for me to keep in touch with my folks without too much intrusion in their lives. The developer seems to be responsive too.
Easy Caring
Having an elderly parent who insists on living at home alone is always worrisome. What the primary caretaker certainly does not need added to an already complicated equation is feeling guilty for not making contact at least once daily, or burdened by the sense of obligation to do so.
WithMe is a marvelous app that allows me to fulfill the obligation to check in with my mom and being assured that she is OK on a daily basis, while at the same time avoiding sometimes difficult phone calls and time out of my already packed daily schedule.
She gets a reminder to check in with me, and the option to send a brief message as well. I get her check-in, so I know she is well, and the option to send her a virtual hug, or message about myself, or simply a virtual smile, heart, flower--among many other choices.
But the beauty of all this--made possible by the WithMe app--is that the entire interaction is accomplished by only a few taps on my iPhone screen.
I know she is OK, she knows I am thinking of her.
Her needs and mine both met.
