I have been using WiTopia in China for the past seven years. It has been extremely helpful in allowing me to access websites I need for work, personal banking, and content that is usually blocked here.
I have recently run into some issues with my iPad not connecting to the VPN anymore, but Stan with WiTopia was very prompt and helpful in walking me through the steps online so that I could get reconnected. I really appreciate this timely and personalized help!

Excellent email responsive
Stan and Mike, in Customer Support, both recently helped me to solve a sign-in issue that I was having with the configuration of one of my laptops. The issue was somewhat complex, and they solved it with ease through several emails. Response times were very prompt, and each of their communication was appropriately robust so that I could address my need. I highly recommend personalVPN as a service.

Not recommended
Bought a 3 year subscription and installed on iPad and iPhone and it’s impossible to get it working or to contact support. Website also not working. Do not recommend.
Really EZ
A snap to download, install, and genuinely easy to run. Free Wi-Fi is so ubiquitous, but so are the people who would love to access your personal information and bank accounts. I’ve used Witopia for years while traveling.

Took my money but no service
I just tried to renew my subscription. They took my money but I keep being told that I have no active service. I WANT A REFUND!
Good product
I have used Witopia on Mac Desktop and on my iphone for years. I had been having problems wth the app, so I looked into configuring the iPhone’s native VPN with ipsec. Well, I didn’t find online instructions to be very helpful, but support’s Mike hung out with me in desktop Chat for over 1.5 hours until I. configured successfully. So, good product (sometimes I have to change the location due to local disasters, but that’s OK; best to move around for security), great customer service, online instructions are eh.

Simple, Secure, Reliable
Used WiTopia for a long time and only have good things to say. Customer Service is great and the service they provide is top notch. Interface is simple and they always provide options for customization.
Buggy
When left on the system wont easily turn off - continues to come back with error messages. Then to get it to switch off you sometimes have to delete the VPN in the settings and reset it up again.
Was working well before
Was working perfectly until the last update; now, when i open the app, it automatically tries to connect me to a VPN and loads indefinitely.
Too bad that update happened because i really enjoyed using it before but now it just doesn't work anymore.
I'm sure another update would fix that tho

Hi. It could just be some bad data the iPhone cached. Have you tried a restart of device? Feel free to contact our support team too! I’m sure they can help.
Peace of mind
Having this app works great as a safety feature. More important is the ability to safely travel the world and not fear hackers.
