Awful product & app
We really wanted this to work out. Must have troubleshooted for four hours. Don’t waste your money or your time! Learn from our mistakes. We tried with a great Wi-Fi connection, three different devices and multiple techy people trying to get this product to work. Great idea but the product or app does not work at all!

Ich möchte eine Rezension zur App von Wiwacam schreiben:
Leider verstehe ich nicht, warum die App selbst nicht durch ein Passwort geschützt ist. Gerade bei einer Anwendung, die sicherheitsrelevante Funktionen bietet, wäre es sinnvoll, einen zusätzlichen Schutz vor unbefugtem Zugriff einzubauen.
Warum gibt es keine Möglichkeit, die App mit einem einfachen Passwort – zum Beispiel einer 4-stelligen Zahlenkombination – zu sichern? Das würde die Nutzung deutlich sicherer machen, besonders wenn das Smartphone von mehreren Personen verwendet wird oder in falsche Hände gerät.
Ich würde mir wünschen, dass diese Funktion in Zukunft ergänzt wird, um den Schutz der Privatsphäre und der Daten zu verbessern.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Purchased my camera last year but finally decided to set it up tonight and I kept getting hit with technical difficulties.
I emailed Sebastian and the team at Wiwa, and they ended up ALL HELPING ME with allllll the issues I had!!!
I’m finally online and my camera is working perfectly well and I can’t thank Sebastian and the Wiwa team enough for helping me every step of the way, even though it took me hours to slowly figure out what I was doing wrong.
This is the best customer service I have ever received.
I highly recommend this company and the camera, which I have model WM6 or something along those lines…it’s the one you plug in which looks like a phone charger.
Also, I have never left a review anywhere but I’m so grateful for the attentive customer support that I decided to leave my first ever review tonight <3

Useless
Camera installed in a birdhouse. Solar panel only gave a small window of viewing and only during sunny conditions. We live in the south! We have SUN!
Klein und gut
Die Preis Leistung stimmt. Kamera im Wifi läuft stabil, Pushmelgung kommt schnell, Aufnahmen sehr gut. Tonaufnahmen mäßig aber der Kameragröße ok

War mal besser, derzeit nicht zu gebrauchen
Auf meinem SE 2023 mit IOs 26 stürzt die App temporär ab.
Auf meinem IPad mit IOs 26 funktioniert die App gar nicht mehr.
Nervt nur noch, mal sollte meinen das die AppEntwickler vor Veröffentlichung des IOs Updates genug Zeit hätten in den Beta Versionen zu testen.

Just not the same
So I got this cam probably a year ago and this app was great. You could hear the sound and control recording from the viewing screen. Now there is no sound or recording options on the viewing screen screen. Really needs an upgrade to change things back.
Keine Push-Benachrichtigung
Habe die App seit ca 2-3 Monaten mit der Kamera in Verwendung. Bisher hat alles gut geklappt. Seit ein paar Tagen kommen bei Bewegungsalarmen allerdings keine Pushbenachrichtigungen mehr auf mein Telefon. Da vor einigen Tagen in der Wohnung unter uns eingebrochen wurde, ist das aktuell ein sehr schlechter Zeitpunkt für so ein Ausfall.

Very Poor Performance
The device is finicky and unreliable, app is terrible, cumbersome when it works, and has not been updated to correct bugs, connectivity, or user interface issues.
Top Service, tolle Kamera
Der Kundenservice ist wirklich beeindruckend. Als es bei der Einrichtung ein Problem gab (mein Fehler) habe ich sofort Rückmeldung und Unterstützung erhalten. Und die kleine Kamera ist jetzt gut im Nistkasten platziert und funktioniert einwandfrei.

Notifications/alerts are in the app visible , but alerts are not showing in the iOS/ Notification Centre

App stürzt ab wenn ich in den Unterpunkt Kameraverwaltung für die RSPT-Verbindung gehen möchte. Verbindung mit Bluetooth respektive kameraeigenem WLan nur mäßig funktional.
