2.1

Version 2.1 — Shortcuts, AI content labelling, and recording that survives. SHORTCUTS (Pro) • Find Notes — searches transcript text, not just titles • Get Note Text — summary, transcript, tasks, or the whole markdown note • Get Tasks from Note — a list to feed the next step of an automation • Stop Recording and Transcribe Audio File — a file from another app straight into the queue • The read actions work even when the app is not running • "Record a Note" stays in the free app — Action Button, Control Center, widget and Siri are unchanged AI CONTENT LABELLING • Notes carry a `generated_by` line in the frontmatter with the provider and model that wrote the summary • A short line under the Summary heading states that the text was generated by an AI model and should be checked against the transcript • Transcripts are not labelled — a transcript is a record of speech, not generated text CONSENT FOR SENDING DATA • Consent applies to a specific recipient, not to a provider — a second self-hosted server or a different Azure gateway asks again • Settings → Sending consents lists every recipient you approved, each with a Revoke button; after revoking nothing is sent there and the endpoint stops being the default • The app also asks for consent in a recording's detail, right before sending — not only when switching providers in Settings • The "Own infrastructure" flag is only suggested from the address of a new endpoint; turning it on is the user's decision RECORDING RELIABILITY • Recording keeps going when AirPods connect or disconnect mid-session — until now it stopped silently and the rest was never saved • Opening another recording's detail while recording no longer ends the recording • A recording cut short by a crash or a shutdown comes back whole; until now it showed up as zero seconds with an empty transcript • The Live Activity disappears after a crash instead of counting up on the lock screen for a recording that no longer exists • Audio imported from another app is no longer lost when a second import is already running NOTES, QUEUE AND PURCHASE • If a note cannot be written to your chosen folder, the app says so — until now the failed write passed silently • "Try again" after a failed write only repeats writing the note; the finished transcript and summary are not recomputed • A transcript the system killed halfway can be finished with "Finish transcription" — it used to stay stuck • The transcription queue keeps going in the background even after the system terminated the app • Edits made during a long transcription or summary (title, speaker names, flags) are no longer overwritten by the result • An unfinished Pro purchase is completed — the app no longer stays paid without being unlocked
