What's New in Wizards and Wagons

1.03

March 2, 2016

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. Game Center Achievements and Online Rankings are now available! Challenge the world to prove your mettle! A huge amount of story content has been added. The new side stories present 8 new weapons/items, 3 new companions, 3 new bosses, a new location to trade, and a few wacky NPCs. We've also made some changes to the combat: The base distance in which you can see enemies has been increased, so now you can pick them apart from a distance! The chance and number of monster spawns have been tweaked in various regions. The behaviors of some monsters have been improved. Finally, some bugs have been squashed in the making of this patch.

Really fun

Enjoyable trading game, lots of quests to explore, and towns that can be improved over time

The calendar remembers events you have discovered, which can be great for planning

If your wagon is destroyed, you can chose to be teleported and fully healed to either the town you just came from, or the starter town, for 10% of your money, and *delicate cough* sometimes it works out cheaper to die and teleport than to travel all the way back to starter town. (As long as you tap purloined cargo, it is recovered)

Would recommend

Very nice , fun game

A Sequel Would be Nice

This game does require a little bit of getting used to, but itโ€™s fast to restart and well worth the small price for the hours of play. Micro goals keep the game interesting for a while (just gotta finish one more deliveryโ€ฆ) and the style is light and humorous. They way the game makes profit and loss clear during transactions is nice, too; it isnโ€™t a chore to play trader, in other words.

It does leave me wishing for more; a second game that builds upon the concepts in the first would be welcome, with a bigger world, more impact to investing time meeting a settlementโ€™s needs, more story quests leading to perhaps one or more (optional) great challenges requiring specifically decked-out wagons, maybe house customization or relocation, etc.

Reminds me of Tradewinds of Sid Meierโ€™s Pirates!

Pretty well put together game! The trading aspect is well done. Graphics fun. Combat and weapons interesting. The missions work. Pretty addictive! I def recommend!

Simple trading game

The game would be great if not for the odd decision to tap maniacally on the screen every time you travel. Between villages, you will be assaulted by a slew of enemies. They do a great deal of damage to you while you barely make a dent on their health. Itโ€™s annoying and not very fun.
