My up to date is usually a week or two old. I contact to ask about this, never get a response. They need to do better.

It would be nice if they told us about local events before they happen. They just take videos to show them after they happen.

Updates Lock The App
Whenever the app updates, it never completes the operation and locks up the app on my iPhone. I have to turn my iPhone off and then back on to unfreeze the app. But, it is WKTV, so expectations not very high anyway.
Fair
Every time I wanna watch live newscast I just got the little circle spinning until I force a restart on my Apple TV. Same thing happens on various devices.
No longer works
I liked it for hometown news but it recently no longer works. I’ve tried installing and reinstalling …… nothing. “0” Stars if I could give it that.

Not impressed with app
We are in Floyd and cannot getSpectrum. Therefore we cannot get NEWS channel 2 I rely on the app sadly the buffering is constant and super annoying. Sometimes in the middle of the story. We DO have awesome internet! So it’s NOT THAT
Wktv we have all kinds of trouble.
Adds that you can’t close. Audio that constantly stops. And they say that they duplicate to find out how to fix the problem. This is on multiple devices.
OLD NEWS
This app is fine, except it seems to be updated only every 3-4 days. When the “local news” is dated so infrequently, the app is only good for seeing the news from several days ago. Today is Saturday - the 5 “Top Stories” are for things that happened on Thursday. It’s pretty useless for current local news.

This app suuuuucks. Seriously, has anyone who works with this app tried to watch it recently? I ditched cable so my intent was to use it to watch the local newscast. Just a joke. Super glitchy. I have it on now and it’s been looping the same nbc news ad for 10 minutes. Won’t go back to the newscast. Tried backing out and reopening the app.... no dice. Would almost be comical if it wasn’t so frustrating. I’ll be deleting. My advice is to find a way to watch WUTR instead.

Used to work great, Lately it buffers
I have had this app since the day it came out. Recently it buffers A LOT, to the point that it’s hard to watch. I love my morning news.
Dumped it...
The proliferation of advertisements that are often built in to most “free” apps these days is absolutely ridiculous. This one is no different. The majority of all video links holds users hostage to obnoxiously long advertisements that are frequently longer than the video itself. No thanks.
What happened?
The app no longer opens and or gives you a error message- Its been going on greater than 1 week and I have unloaded it and reloaded it.

I've had this app for a few days and it worked great. Today I am getting error messages that there was a problem loading the content. Ugh.
