Everything locked behind a paywall for something that is open source to install on a esp32. Defeats the purpose of why the developer probably ever made WLED available to the public. Wasn’t able to do anything but turn off and on unless I payed. So no telling how the actual app is.

This isn’t a fee for WLED itself — it’s free and open source as always. The subscription is basically a donation that supports my work on building a polished app with way more features than the native web version. Everyone’s time has value, even the original WLED project asks for donations — the subscription is just how I keep improving the app.

Looks good and understand the costs for dev and to keep running but WLED is an open source project without profits and you shouldn’t be paying

Support is very responsive , they seem to sell some fully assembled lamps for those that are not into building their own.
