Effects tab doesn’t work
2 stars because some parts work. I wouldn’t bother with this app though until they fix the effects section. It’s basically an app version of logging into the board from a browser. You can adjust settings which is nice. However, the effects tab hardly works. If I tap at the top of the screen, it actually selects something an inch lower. When you try to scroll down for more effects, the effects eventually disappear. Basically, it’s unusable for effects but works for adjusting settings. Easier to just use your browser and board IP.

Used to work great
In the past few months something has caused the app to not work correctly. Some pages don’t show all the info and aren’t usable. Now it just disconnects from the controller after about 3 seconds but the controller is still online and working(verified with PC). I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall and nothing. Back to the webpage it is.

What Happened???
This worked so well last Christmas. I received so many compliments on my lighting and was pleased with the customization. Now, I can’t even change the themes. I hope this gets fixed. This was such a phenomenal app.
App worked good before effects tab broke
It seems that the effects tab is broken making it very difficult to change effects in the app. Worked perfectly before a few updates that broke the app.
Effects page doesn’t work
Would be a great app, but the effects page does not work. This undermines one of the app’s central purposes: setting new lighting effects. Furthermore, if you just plug your WLED instance’s ip address into Safari, you will get essentially all of this app’s functionality (if not all of this app’s functionality), and the effects page works through the web interface. The app would be awfully convenient if the effects page worked, but because it doesn’t, I almost always use Safari instead. The availability of a working effects page on Safari, but not through the app substantially undermines the utility of the app.

App is basically useless
App is constant alt freezing / glitching / crashing. List of effects disappears when scrolling through. You can still select effects but cannot see which one you are choosing. Same thing happens when scrolling through color scheme list. Desktop version works perfect the app is useless
Was great till the recent update broke the UI
I’ve had very few problems with WLED until I tried to tweak two of my lighting installations and now can’t get them back to the way they were using the app due to the UI being completely broken on the effects page.
Effects Tab has a Visual Bug on iPhone
Minor fix required on the Effects Tab. Scroll and display are mucked up.
Awesome App
Love the app! Use it all the time. Also noticed a change that has affected the “effects” page. Luckily you can easily change some of your favorite setups to the color(s) that match the holiday, event, or the mood. Thanks!
Awesome capabilities, lots of bugs
This app is awesome and has a lot of custom features that have been so great to use. I’ve been able to use an esp32 with some led strips to make some awesome lights around the house. I use to be able to use Alexa with it but in a recent update I lost all connection and the effects tab is all messed up. Again, this app has some AMAZING features, it’s just not a very polished app.

Mostly Good
This app is mostly good, however, there was a recent update that completely wrecks some of the ui on both iOS and iPadOS, specifically on the effects page and some of the config pages. Because of this, it’s almost impossible to change these settings and I have to resort to using the web app. If this were fixed, this would easily be a 5 star app imo

Effects Tab Useless
Used to be amazing. Not sure what happened but effects page is spaced out weird and taps don’t register properly. Please fix. I love this app!!!
Effects not accessible
I had been enjoying this app for over a year now until recently. I have an iPhone 14 pro max and just as others have stated, the effects screen is completely black and you can not choose any. Screen is completely distorted. I am hoping there is a fix soon
Effects Not Working Properly
Hi the app is great and I love the lights but the effects stopped working properly I can only change effects not edit the intensity or anything else.
Effects page is lagging
When I open up the effects the none of the options are where they should be. I can’t click on any of them since the page seems to be distorted

Great app. Thank you for making such a great app and offering it for free. Most recent ios upgrade seems to have made the effects tab unusable.
App been messing up bad after a month
Love wled and been converting to use wled but my Apple iPhone 14 pro max can no longer pick effects. It’s just black screen and I can randomly pick one. At first it worked amazingly and delete the app to reinstall it and still nothing
Effect page issue w/ iPhone 14
The app was working great and then the effects page went out of wack. I switched to the WLED-Native app which seems to have fixed my issue with the Effects tab.
Major issues
I'm on an iPhone 14 Pro Max and there are some layout issues on the effects panel. Also discovery just finds devices, but doesn't actually let you add them.
Worked great till iOS update
Still useable but effects are messed up with the latest update for iOS.
