Speed of news

I get local Lafayette stories on Indianapolis apps a lot faster then your app. Sometimes a couple days earlier.

Bring back the old app

The old app was way better! New app is a terrible design.

News

Too much sports news.
Lots of news that never gets reported.

Unsatisfied user review

When you touch on the app it comes on with top or select news and sports it use to be current. Seems like I touch on it now and the news that pops up is 3 days or older. I have also seen Friday night frenzy pop up and it has been 2 weeks or older scores. I even touched on the Friday night frenzy on the bottom of the screen and it was old news. This is the first time I have been on here in several weeks because it doesn’t have current news and it doesn’t seem as easy to use. Contemplating on deleting this app!!!!!

18 not informative anymore.

18 needs to revert back to reporting news about Lafayette not Ft Wayne and Terre Haute. Lafayette is a big enough city that there is plenty of news.

Very little local news

WLFI has mostly become terribly written / AI written “articles” or syndicated stories from CNN / Indianapolis agencies. The weather forecasts and outlooks have become abysmal on a good day. The forecasters don’t even know the names of surrounding cities and counties. There is so much going on locally and this is NOT the place to find out what is happening in the community. It’s so disappointing…

Few “local” articles

The weather isn’t local anymore and the news articles that seem to be original often have spelling and grammatical errors so bad even I notice them. Wish there was more original reporting and local weather.

Why

Nobody updated the frenzy week to week, ever.

Not updating

As an example Sunday your top story was about the fire works downtown which was on Thursday night. I can not believe that nothing important happened on Friday or Saturday. It is similar every weekend.

Review

Things are not kept up to date. Things happen on weekends but it’s not report until Monday.

Sound drops after 10 mins

Love watching this local news. Recently, the sounds on my iPhone drops after watching the livestream for 10 mins. The picture continues to change but no sound.

Stop advertising the App ON the App

I have the App and it often cuts to an advertisement suggesting to download the App. Why? I’m USING the downloaded App so why have a repetitive commercial suggesting I download the App? Also often right as the news starts the App cuts to a commercial (see above) when in the normal program it is not at a commercial break? Much work needs to be done. I often give up and exit.

School delays & closing

I looked on both apps & neither showed anything about school delays or closings. However if you check the internet WLFI shows them. What’s up with that?

Local news coverage? Where??

I downloaded this app for weather alerts because we live on the edge of tornado alley.. but I noticed lately, wlfi has been skipping over my county entirely when it comes to severe thunderstorm alerts and tornado warnings, even though we get hit first.
And we were just hit with a severe storm, and had no idea it was coming, because I got no alert or notification or anything.
The whole reason I got this app was for accurate local weather alerts, but.. we’re not getting them anymore.

Video player error

I've had this app for a while now and it worked fine. I don't have cable so o rely on watching the live feed through the app in the morning before going to work. Tried watching and now it says error. Problem with video player. This needs to be fixed asap

Live App is Unwatchable

Finally cut the cable and all is well EXCEPT: needed to find a solution that allowed me to get my daily briefing from the best local news anchor ever, Jeff Smith. Was delighted that the WLFI app (and Apple TV app) had a “live” mode which not only broadcast the various daily news broadcasts, but rebroadcast the most recent one in between newscasts-I’m spoiled by DVR’s and life just doesn’t allow me to camp in front of the tv in eager anticipation. Unfortunately, the rebroadcast news is just unwatchable: news reports constantly drop out leaving one to sit in silence watching the “We’ll Be Right Back” logo for endless minutes on end. This is no small disruption: today the 0:30 cold opening took about ten minutes, interrupted three times! One story constantly dropped out, many times after just a few seconds. A story will play for a couple of seconds and then “We’ll Be Right Back” for several minutes. The rebroadcasts are heavily compressed causing every change of camera angle to pixelate. If you watch the 6:00 news right at 6:00, the broadcast seems better with both dropouts and pixelation. But the rebroadcasts are a complete no-go. I’ve tested this on ROKU, Apple TV, and iOS, and the problems duplicate on all devices. Anybody know what’s going on with this?

What’s up?

My app was updated today, and all of the stories are from last week or weekend. I refreshed several times, to no avail. Would like to have the most current news on the app.

Ok

Finally iPhone X compliant. Thank you. Adjusted score up.

Terrible

Info doesn’t stay updated. The weather information isn’t recent.

Worthless

I'm on iPad OS 9.3 and app site is poorly organized and maintained. Most "news" I see is from fall of 2017!
