New update sucks
The new radar update that happened at the end of 2025 is horrible. They should go back to the radar that they had before.
Fine except for the weather headlines
Once you get into the weather headlines, you can’t get out of them without closing the app and reopening it.
Jay Allen
The one star is for Jay Allen and EVERY SINGLE TIME I need to see the weather, having to sit through his redundant rant. During hurricane season, I don't need to be inundated with a car salesman pitch!
This is also a big reason Jay Allen missed out on over 75k when I purchased my vehicle recently.
That and the fact his salesmen tried to sell me a truck for 42k with BALD TIRES claiming it a new vehicle.
Find yourself some new sponsors.

Wlox weather and news apps have to much J Allen ads, every video has add when your trying to see important items.
Future cast is terrible
Love the WLOX weather team and rely on them for their updates. But this app does them no justice. The 24hr futurecast radar only goes 12 hours and freezes. This has been an issue for well over 6 months and it still hasn’t been fixed. When I messaged Eric Jeansonne about the issue, he said they have no control over the app. That’s pretty sad that the Chief Meteorologist has zero say in the quality of the weather app.

Buggy
Great app and I use every day and there seems to be some issues that could be improved for this app to be top shelf for locals. Lags and the radar seems to always stop about halfway.

WLOX DOES A WONDERFUL JOB KEEPING PEOPLE UP TO DATE AND INFORMED. I use to live in that area. I now live in Gilf Breeze. Alan Strum is the name of the guy in charge of weather in my area of. FL. He is seriously lacking and I still have to rely on WLOX. He blew it with keeping us informed with hurricane SALLY. Your area is blessed to have great people.

Hurricane Francine Coverage
Great coverage and the frequent updates were very helpful for us in Pass Christian, as well as the entire MS. Gulf coast, before, during, and after the storm. Especially the tornado warnings. Great job by the (obviously expanded) WLOX team. Thanks to your whole team for a job well done!
Future cast
I love the app but lately future cast freezes up half way through.
Confusing radar
The radar map has an overlay when opening that only moves out of the way when in motion. Also the ad at the bottom with the roach crawling is disgusting.
