Ads and old news an issue

The ads are too long and then when I get to the weather, it’s 3 days old. Please don’t put old weather on as if it’s most recent, and why are we watching so many ads?

Too many ads

Recent update includes too many clickbait advertisements. The same advertisment multiple times covering half the screen. Google advertisements for tobacco products and other stuff that no normal human being would be interested in. I have found another weather app that gives far less ads, and more weather info. Keeping this app only for the weather alerts.
I have already removed the WMTV news app because the ads made it completely unusable with the update to the app.
