Reliable and straightforward
Tried the New Classical FM app before - it was always crashing and needed to be reinstalled.
This one just works reliably, day in and day out. The music is lovely.
The only thing that could make it perfect would be news from Canada - but nothing is perfect. :)

Station is great, app needs Chromecast!
The only casting capability in this app is for Apple. Every other streaming service also includes Chromecast as an option.
This appears to be the case for all PBS apps (like Passport). Does PBS hate Android users? Does Apple donate more than Alphabet? How about it PBS?

I love WNED Classical, Buffalo Born & Raised & Travel for work ALL OVER America & Canada!! KM GLAD I CAN TAKE WNED WITH ME!! One of my most favorite things of being in and around the Buffalo & Toronto surroundings and listening to WNED Classical, I love the announcers who take me on a musical journey all day everyday. It’s like work, okay.. but work with an epic orchestra…. YUEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! I just love it!! It’s empowering! It’s thrilling!! It’s Romantic!! It’s Melancholy!! It’s Overwhelming with centuries of beauty in it’s whole purest form! I love listening to these amazing timeless classics and being told the stories behind the music, of the composers, the musicians, the orchestras, the places, and every random fact in between!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE WNED Classical!! Thank you guys so much for everything!!! I LOVE YOUU STRATTON RAWSON!!!!!!!!!! Gen, & the marks you guys are awesome too!!! Excellent!
One would think this is not rocket science but, apparently it is as there are a stunning number of duds out there. This app is , in contrast, clean, simple and it works well.
Good app for a good station
The app works well with no issues. The station is good and plays a decent variety of music. I wish they didn’t have to talk between every single piece of music. Couldn’t we put two pieces together with no announcer or commercial?

Hosts are good, music choice is great, and the app works well! I'd love the option to support my local station by paying to remove ads.

Found this recently and being a WNYer now living in Las Angeles it’s a great station to listen to.
App crashes constantly
App does not work at all with iOS 12.4. The opening screen hangs for about 30-49 seconds then disappears. The app does not load. Identical behaviour with iPadOS 13 beta 4.
Best Classics ever
My wife and I listen to WNED via the internet every day. Excellent broadcasting of the finest classical music and no commercials. The hosts are well informed and very pleasant to listen to. No nonsense. We live in Toronto so it’s hard to get the Station other than on the internet. Beats anything we have over here. Yes, we do donate when we can.
