Looked good...

This app looks like it is full of potential, but unachieved as of yet. I will give two stars for effort. I will watch for revisions and attempt it again. Until then, I am requesting a refund...not out of malice but ideal. I support kickstarter type projects because in the end we both win. I get access to something new in which I supported, and the 'creators' get their dream fulfilled. This app doesn't promise it will get better. I do not know if this app will ever be revised. I had to pay up front and hope. Better to have a nominal fee, limited page count and an annoying watermark. When upgraded, all annoyance and limitations would be removed. This would be a developer and user incentive.

Here is a partial list of what I MISS from other apps I have used:

*Grid lines that can be turned on/off
*Snap-to grids
*Rulers
*Guidelines to line up objects with other objects
*Easier text editing. Put a bar of tools on the keyboard.
*Text window that can be moved out of the way while editing
*AUTOSAVING... I was in the zone and was an hour into a project when the app just quit. No big deal. All the good apps that 'make' something capture the state they are in or autosave every minute or so, and then you can continue from where you left off or last saved. To my surprise, I have a blank page and none of my work can be found. Rage!

Good luck with your project. I was hopeful for this app but it doesn't live up to my minimal expectations for a paid app. However, it has great potential!

High hopes but...

I was looking forward to getting some simple layout and prototyping while traveling with only my iPad. Unfortunately, this app didn’t help.

It crashed many time even though I barely used it. The UI is confusing. The work I did on the ‘shared header’ and ‘shared footer’ sections disappeared...

But the thing that put the nail in the coffin is the inability to nest containers inside sections (at least that I could find...). Nested div’s are fundamental to the structure of a website.

I’m sure it is a challenge to make this type of app and Aidaluu is trying to make the best program they can, but this app simply isn’t up to par... especially for it’s steep price...

Perhaps if there are some major updates I’ll give it another try, but as for now I recommend you not waste your money like I did.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback. We will keep your inputs in mind for future updates. The header and footer are optional files that you can use to add a common header/footer to all pages in the website. This is a very useful feature when working with a website that contains multiple pages. For example, if you have a header containing a navigation menu, when updating menu links, you only need to make a single update and all pages inheriting from the header will receive this update. For comparison, if you are adding the menu to all pages individually, you will need to make separate changes to each page’s menu. Please note the shared header and footer sections are designed to show in exported work (they do not show in the individual page during content editing).
