From a disappointed nuclear medicine professor

After an earlier scathing review, I believed the update may have corrected those OBVIOUS errors. Nope, nada, no way! Under "medical" isotopes, a quick glance shows that Tc-99m, I-123, I-131, Xe-133, In-111, Ga-67 are missing and MUCH LESS FREQUENTLY used medical isotopes are listed. Not much need to move on from there although I could. Very poor job folks but I guess you got my five bucks didn't you?

Tremendously useful

I'm a professional nuclear scientist. During meetings I often say "There's an app for that!" and whip this one out.

Unstable in iOS 8

This was a cool little app for looking up Isotopes and their basic information. However after upgrading to iOS 8 the program has become completely unstable. Hope they get a fix for this soon!!

Not Worth It!!

As a nuclear engineer with 35+ years of experience, I thought this would be worthwhile app. I was wrong and wasted $5. None of the metastable half-lives are listed. The glaring omission is Tc-99m which is used in tens of millions of medical procedures a year. Tc-99m is also NOT listed under the medical isotope section!

Furthermore, if you are going to list isotopes by name, do it in alphabetical order, NOT atomic number order! If you want to do it in atomic number order, present it as a periodic table, where you can click on the element in question.

I expected better from Wolfram and have been severely disappointed!

Excellent Reference

I downloaded this app as a quick reference for properties of different isotopes for the purposes of running a radiation safety program for a military base. To now, I have found no inconsistancies and the information provided has been everything I needed (for each isotope) to verify the hazards and operating procedures which should be necesary for a given isotope.

I looked at several other apps for this information and this on appears to be the most complete and accurate that I've found.
