5 stars from me! Just one suggestion!

I just started the game and I LOVE IT ALOT!! Especially the building aspect of it, and the graphics are so incredible! The gameplay in general is also astounding and I can’t wait to keep playing further!

All that said though, I only have one suggestion; could you please add a better characterization options, just more detail and variety. I understand the point of when you level up you get new character designs, but I feel like there isn’t enough freedom of making your own characters look how you actually want them to look.

Other than that the game is amazing, even if you don’t decide to make this tweak to the game it is fine, it is just a suggestion after all!

Data Save Bug

Hey developers! First off just wanted to say that this game ROCKS! I love the premade campaigns, the classic rpg made new, and i love making and playing other people’s campaigns/adventures, as well as my own. All this and more is why i love this game! It would be cooler, though, if i could save my progress and not worry about losing it. I really don’t mean to dis this whole game cuz it’s really great, and doesn’t burn battery that bad. All i’m tryna say is that it would be cool if my progress would save. I thankfully haven’t lost any of the adventures i’ve made, but i have had to start all main campaigns over twice over the course of one week. i know that someone else already left a review on this exact same topic so i hope adding another persuades you to try and fix something. if not, all good! thanks for an awesome game!

Cool Enemy Idea

Hello Wonderbox team. I know I’ve recommended twenty suggestions at this point, but this one will probably (and hopefully) be an easy one to program, and augment into the game. My enemy idea? The Skeleton. It would be skinny and pearly white, with a shiny iron Viking helmet, but without the horns. It would have a weapon select menu, and you can choose the weapons that each knight in Wonderbox has; the swordsman, spearman, and bowman. The skeleton will act as the “fallen soldiers” of Wonderbox. Their hand will do 1/2 heart damage, and the rest would be a full heart. When placed in the creator, it would simply stand there; but when playing, it would disappear, and when going within a few blocks, it will scarily rise from the ground. When leaving range, it will go back into the ground. There will also be a “traitor knight” version, with double the health, and a shiny iron helmet with the traitor knight “horns?”. When a normal skeleton it defeated, it will drop 1-2 coins, and will have a 20% chance to simply crumble, then reassemble itself, and then finally, begin to fight again. When the skeleton king dies (the traitor knight version), it will drop loot of your choice, (just like the regular traitor knight) and will have a 50% resurrection rate.
Hopefully the skeleton and its leader can make it into Wonderbox, and will inspire many adventures to come.
(Also these enemies should go into the castle feud section of the creator menu.)
Thanks,
OceanhornPro

Awesome game, but...

I LOVE this game. It's definitely one of the more unique mobile games out there & the reason I initially tried Apple Arcade to begin with. You create your own hero, traveling thru player- and developer-created adventures to find the Heart of Adventure. Yup, it allows player-content, and the creativity of the player base never fails to amaze. Adventures run the gamut from simple, easy platforming to full-on multi-player brawls with frustratingly tough monsters to complex puzzles that require serious brainwaves to figure out.

With all that said -- and understand, it's one of the best offerings on Arcade! -- it does have some issues. If you're on iOS, you definitely want to find a controller. Trying to do adventures with just the default touchscreen can be very frustrating, if not impossible. Also, adventures can get very repetitive, since you cannot change any of the text that the NPCs say, all the monsters are the same and players are limited to whatever updates and styles and objects that Aquiris takes the time to put out. Mind, the player base is EXTREMELY creative, but it'd be nice to get more regular updates and item sets added to the game.

Really fun, just a few suggestions

Hi! My name is JacksonPizza810 and I made Save the King! and Find the flowers. I think that this game is very fun and addicting, and deserves five stars. I just have a few suggestions. Maybe you could have a feature to disconnect different boxes from each other, because one time I had an inn and a boss battle right next to each other. It was really annoying, and I had to hide the portal between them under the land. I also think you could have a collection of items that is underwater-themed, and if you add an environment block that is completely underwater, your character could automatically start floating in the air and looking like he/she/they is swimming. You could even add a mode for any character that gives you something. You could turn on a mode called “Trick Mode” where the person tells you that they need something from you like usual, and they will buy it from you, you will trade, or you will buy it from them. You get it, you give it to them, and it turns out that that person is evil! Thank you for reading this! Note: Some of these features may already exist. If so, please comment how to access these! Sincerely, JacksonPizza810

Edit: I figured out how to connect and disconnect boxes! lol

Hi Jackson! Thanks for your suggestions and feedback, stay tuned ;)

Amazing game 🤩 (could use some updates)

Bosses-Enemies like the summoner king, traitor knight, or goblin chief need to take more hits, preferably 5 with the royal sword. Also, the game could benefit from more bosses, like a giant spider whom can slow the player with webs or climb walls, or a giant sandworm that pops out from multiple locations, a giant bird who can cough up explosive eggs while flying above the player, or even a white mage who casts many spells that can slow time, throw fire balls, balls of ice, and revive all dead enemies in a box.

Items-The game could benefit from so many more items, like a great-axe that deals as much damage as the royal sword but functions as an axe, a spiked shield that does a small amount of damage when pushing an enemy, a great-bow that does more damage than a regular bow.

(I have more ideas but these are a few)

Very fun!! Recommend

So, I got this game yesterday and I have been obsessed with it! It’s a very cool game, and I always love games where you make your own game, and this is one of the best. But, it kind of looks like it’s just for little kids, but it’s NOT. It is actually pretty complicated and fun for older kids (and maybe even adults). One of the best Apple Arcade apps! It lacks the ability to make your own textures/ dialogue like other games, but A: I don’t know how that could even work with the graphics and B: they want to keep it kid-appropriate. My suggestions for the developers would be to add a few more “packs” (or whatever you call the things with themed blocks and items). You have already done “European” architecture, and desert “Middle East” architecture, so you should add “African” savannah packs, “Asian” bamboo theme, “South American” jungle theme, “North American” prairie theme, and “Australia and Oceania” island themes. Just suggestions, so that lots of types of medieval time period cultures are represented.

Amazing game 🤩

This is an amazing game, it gets boring after a long time, so I recommend adding in a lot of ideas from fans, I thing mechs might be to overpowered, so maybe armor could be better. I also think that you could totally do a whole survival type world kind of like dragon quest games. New NPCs with custom text would be incredible, along with dogs, for the non cat community. NPCs that follow you would be insane, like a guard or somebody you need to protect… The game is perfect as it is, and doesn’t need many changes, unless you want to keep people who have been playing from the beginning. Two more things, more types of Goblins! It could be so great! Also, more additional stuff (upgrades) for the player.

Another cool suggestion

Hey Wonderbox Team! It’s OceanhornPro. I am a golden creator and have published around 30 some adventures.
Along with my industrial update preposition, I think it would cool AFTER you guys make the industrial, to add a whole underwater, mermaid, oceanic vibe!
It would add Coral, Seahorse enemies, and it would have a mood ‘underwater’ which makes everything look like the ‘rainbow grove’ from the Masters of Magic, except it looks ‘underwater-y’.
I think this would be extremely versatile and would add SO much more ideas and concepts into Wonderbox.
Also, you could add some armor that you could equip, kind of like a heart container, and it would protect you from one hit, then would break. The enemy would not deal any damage while the armor is on, and would look silver in color.
These suggestions could totally make it into Wonderbox in my opinion.
I hope that you can add this into the game!
Sincerely, OceanhornPro

New Ideas

Here are some Wonderbox Ideas
—————————
.l Shield Generators = Lets say there two goblins in a
box & one knight, but you have to kill both goblins,
before you can kill the knight!
—————————
.ll Arrow Traps 2.0 = You can flip arrow traps up & down,
not just left & right!
—————————
.lll A New Enemy = This enemy could be like one that floats way up high in the air, and drops bombs one you every 3 seconds!
—————————
.lV Teleportation = I new skill could be being able to teleport into places that i blocked, but you have to pick-up the magical
object that lets you teleport!
—————————
.V Campaigns = A Space Campaign would be neat,
it could like 8 levels in it, each one exploring a
new planet maybe, here are some things that could be in it!
———————————————
.l A laser gun sort of thing, so you could shoot enemy's from a distance, but unlike the bow & arrow, it kills enemy's in one hit!
.ll Another idea is being able to mush objects together!
Like you could have a grappling sword!
.lll Alien monsters that come chasing after you, and whenever one alien bumps into another, they form together & get bigger!

Okay thats all, I hope you put these ideas into consideration!

Best phone game ever

This game is amazing! It is like a game you would play on a console as far as the quality of graphics and gameplay. I am obsessed. The only con is that even though I’m signed into Game Center, everything doesn’t sync when I switch between playing on my phone or iPad. Thankfully, the important parts have so far - like my progress on a certain box , but sometimes the outfits I’ve accumulated will be missing. I’ve also noticed that sometimes I will open up the app and it’s like it reset or updated and will start the tutorial boxes over and in the discover section it will not show the ones I’ve completed, but again it has saved my progress on the campaigns so it’s not a big deal to me.

Fun and addicting game, but missing a few things

I discovered this game after subscribing to Apple Arcade and this game alone makes it worth the cost. It’s so much fun making levels, I just wish validating long levels was better, like you could pick up on the box prior to the one you make changes to. What I would suggest adding would be a few more enemies like a grub that can turn left or right to hug the edge of a platform. Maybe a new boss or two like a big sand worm that pops up in different locations. Some of the enemies are also dumb and kill themselves on stuff. Would be cool to have some kind of water enemy also like a piranha. For additional blocks, I would love to have an invisible barrier block that players can’t go past, like a force field. It would be super helpful in making it so people can’t bypass stuff with the grappling hook or other tools. I’d also like a pushable block instead of having to use the frog for puzzles. Maybe a hovering elevator block that moves up and down a certain number of blocks or can be activated by a switch or when stepped on. A block you can bounce on maybe. We definitely need a teleported so when you beat a section, you don’t need to run all the way back through it. Also, can we get a cloud block or cloud city theme? And one last thing that would be great would be the ability to customize dialog. I want to write hints. Anyways, love this game and would like to see more additions.

Great game, developers, please read!

Okay, so when I saw this I thought, oh, I’ll just get it and play for a couple min and then delete. But i ended up keeping it and its super fun. The graphics are cute and cartoony, the controls are easy to operate, and the building items have a wide variety. ‘ ‘ suggestions for gameplay ‘ ‘ Hello, these are my suggestions for gameplay. -elf NPCs -anime item set (schoolgirl/boy NPCs, magical girl stuff, kinda like sailor moon/glitter force kinda stuff) -online play/arenas -more customization for NPCs Thank you for reading, I hope y’all consider adding these (especially the anime thing) TY -OTAKUGIRL8

Horrible bug report system

There’s no way a player can describe a problem, game only gives 3 options to choose, and even if it does apply to the problem, it doesn’t let you to share details of this problem. So far i had problems 2 times, and these problems were never fixed. One time there was a glitch with a grub, it got stuck behind the open doors, while it was supposed to crawl to it’s doom ahead, in order for me to be able to open the chest. It happened in the area of box covered by a wall and separated with a split, so i had no way to get there or intervene in any other way, and the rest of the grubs were killed by me from distance with the help of a lever and disappearing blocks (this one was supposed to do the same, but it got stuck). Now, after a year, another issue emerged for me, and I’m afraid it’s not going to be fixed, as well. I have cleared all July top boxes, except for one, because every time i start it, game kicks me out in two minutes or less. I reported it, but since there was no option to tell what exactly is happening, I doubt the developers will get it right, and, thus, there is no way they are ever going to fix it for me.

Starts out great but…

I was really enjoying this game, great graphics and tremendous world building. Love the numerous options on play and even the ability to create your own levels. Unfortunately, as the levels progress the game gets tedious as it relies on repetitive action, like “avoid the worms” with tight margins of error and sloppy character controls forcing you to do the same level over and over again. Or frustratingly difficult challenges with arrows and jumps, where you constantly have to change your view/perspective that make “boss-like” levels impossible to clear. I’ll keep trying this game a while longer but will more than likely abandon ship if there aren’t improvements.

Wonderbox is the best AppStore game in history

I pay for AppleArcade solely to play Wonderbox. I really don’t have much else to say. The campaign(s) are fun, the player maps are fun, creating levels is a blast. Also lots of fun to be had for adults and children alike. Very easy to learn how to play and complex enough to keep you entertained. Any parent who has played classic games and RPGs from Mario to Zelda, and is looking for games to enjoy with their kid, will appreciate what is going on in Wonderbox.

I would love if they added an option to write our own NPC dialogue, or at least choose from a wider variety of lines for each NPC to say.

Also it would be really cool if NPCs that have weapons and are marked friendly could help you fight against enemies.

Overall it’s a good game

This game has so many fun puzzles to do and you can be very creative with making your own levels and such. One of the problems I have is the controls. I don't know if its just my iPad being weird but a lot of times when press a button on the screen it doesn’t recognize it. This happened most of the time with jumping and steering (although mostly with jumping). This began to be extremely frustrating when I was on the campaign, Icy Matters, as there was a lot of parkour. I kept on falling off of cliffs just because the game didn’t recognize that I pressed jump. I would love to see this problem fixed so that I can play harder levels without wanting to scream. Thank you for the amazing game!

This game is AMAZING but I wish there were more updates

So I just wanted to say first of all that I looooooooove Wonderbox and really enjoy playing it and creating boxes! It’s an insanely fun game and one of my favourites. One thing I’d like to say though is that I feel like the max level should be higher than 80. I reached the max level several months ago, and it’s hard finding new adventures to play, since I’ve played literally almost all of them. A content update would be nice, more than just the avatars. And by the way, I love the avatars a lot. Again, Wonderbox is an amazingly awesome game and I love it a lot. Thank you for bringing this game to us!

Awesome

I can't explain how good are the graphics and gameplay, and give the users the ability to create content makes an infinite experience.
To the developers: can you please include a way yo list the levels you started but didn't finished?

What happens very often, is that I start to play a long or epic level from the daily suggestions, and then if I don't finish the level on the same day, and open again on the next day (and don't include the level on the favorites), I will never be able to find that level again.
