Bought and activated the data-only eSIM in the UK as a traveler from the USA. What pushed me to this option was the local carriers seem to want you to have a local card, address, and existing phone number to create an account and get a Pay As You Go eSIM. WonderConnect didn’t require anything like that. Haven’t traveled around much yet to test out coverage, but completely satisfied so far.
Only downside is no local phone number so can’t make local calls, but in my case that’s not important.

Renewing eSIM
After purchasing an eSIM for travelling around New Zealand everything worked perfectly, when this expired I thought I had to purchase a new eSIM but this didn’t seem to work. I have now topped up my original eSIM which works perfectly.
