Inconsistent
Shots seem to be manipulated by the game frequently. I’ve played thousands of holes and find the outcome of shots highly inconsistent for several games in a row and then every once in a while shots become more predictable. For example, low trajectory shots hit a flat surface and bounce backward or stop suddenly. A big frustration is how often high trajectory shots will fall short of expected distance as if there was a sudden headwind.

Great Collection Of Games
First, get "ALL" of the BoyHowdy games. They are free with only a non-intrusive ad at the bottom of the screen. They are very user-friendly with cool features and graphics.
This golf game is soooo addictive and definitely worth the practice to get better and better. The physics used and the realistic ball flight is incredible. Every new hole is completely unique and the game never gets boring.
These "guys" sure know how to produce amazing games.

Fun for all ages
This little game offers challenges for adults and kids alike. Fun and offering enough terrain and hole placement challenges to keep things interesting.

Wonderful but...
Have been playing this game for simply ages, it is something I do every day. My little ‘problem’ now is that I have progressed to such a level that it is no longer a relaxing game for me. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, hoping to get back to the earlier games. However, although it deleted and reinstalled the game it returned to the same level of difficulty. Shame.

Best Golf App
It’s the closest thing to real golf. Forget about the review that uses the algorithm concept to prove this gem doesn’t shine. Try the game first, and you tell me this isn’t the real thing, the closest you’ll ever feel to great greenways.

I really enjoy this game as a break from other stuff, but rarely play more than a few holes at a time.
It isn't really very much like real golf at all, more like miniature golf with a lot of vertical terrain.
There are too many holes set on mountain peaks, and it is no fun at all to keep going back and forth. I think my single hole record is 33 strokes. They really need to add a button that lets us take a stroke penalty and move on to the next hole.

This is a terrific game. I’m learning to make hole in one. The entire web site has all kinds of games and they are all good AND ALL FREE!!!
Why do I have this problem?????????
I started this game with my iPad 2, I’m #1 as far as the most holes played. In September 2017 I got a new iPad Pro. I’ve tried to get this game on my new iPad several times WITH MY CURRENT SCORES AND IT JUST WON’T ADD HOLES I’VE PLAYED. IT STAYS AT 218254 AND I HAVE PLAYED THE GAME SEVERAL TIMES. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! I had this problem once before [on my older iPad]when we lost electricity. I was on the phone for hours with tech support and they tried to fix it. They were useless! I had to give up because it was the 2nd day on the phone [I had other problems to.] I kept playing and I don’t know how but it FINALLY started to keep up with me and when I finished a game it had the correct and up to date scores. I have done everything I can possibly think of to fix this problem. I refuse to be on the phone again for hours and hours with tech support. I hate to throw in the towel and never play it again because I do enjoy it, even though it is not always a game of your own skill. I would give this game 5 stars if it wasn’t for this issue. BTW, I’M SCREWED BECAUSE MY OTHER IPAD IS NOT WORKING, WHERE THE GAME IS ACCURATE.

addicting and frustrating
this game keeps me coming back again and again to try and make those hole in one shots. but it's frustrating when simple shots don't go my way. i can easily spend an hour swinging my club in this fun, yet challenging game.

Lots of Fun
Tried it for a change and really enjoyed it. Interesting variety of holes and you can improve your accuracy with practice. Fun sound effects. It can be frustrating to have a ball roll all the way down a slope if you over or under shoot, but it won't roll all the way down a slope into the hole sometimes, stopping just short. Grr...

Tons of Fun!
I like to play miniature golf, and this game is as close to it as you can get; without ruining your budget.
You can get Eagles, Birdies, Pars, and Bogeys.
I just wish it would say what a perfect game is, and whether you had it or not; as in a real game of golf.

Great Game
Really enjoy this game which is a lot different to some of Boy Howdy games. You think some of the holes look easy to get but these turn out to be really difficult. You get a lot of fun trying to beat your best scores.

Potential to be good
The results of golf shots aren't consistent. The ball may bounce forward when striking a small upslope and backwards the next time with the same launch angle each time. Rollout isn't consistent either. Draw out the launch arrow the same distance and launch angle two times in a row and the ball will go two separate distances.

Just AWESOME !!!!!
This game is such fun. I spend quite a bit of time waiting - airport, meetings, appointments and I get bored very quickly. These games help so much. Thanks guys - keep it up!!!
