Needs some work
This could be a totally awesome prep app. I give it three stars because it is better than most. The form is great. The content needs some work. I would be more than willing to change my review if the developers would be willing to fix the issues I'm about to address.
As I mentioned, the format is pretty good. You can take mock quizzes. You can answer practice questions in subsets that accurately mirror the types of questions you're liable to see on this particular examination. There are all kinds of statistics. If the developer would go through the entire question base themselves and make sure the following two items are corrected, it would be a highly recommended app for anyone who has to take this test and is looking for proper preparation. There might be more issues than what I'm about to mention, but I'm only a third of the way through the questions and these are the most egregious ones I've seen.
The first is that some of the graph questions are matched up to the wrong answer sets. For instance, it might ask you which of the following graphs is reflective of the following number set, but the answer choices are for the overlapping 3x3 matrix questions. I've seen more than one question that has this problem.
Secondly, there are multiple questions that are duplicates. You will often answer them in the same test. You will get a particular question and two questions later the same question will appear again.
I wouldn't really have that big of an issue with this app if the prices weren't so steep in the sense that you're paying a weekly or monthly subscription to use the app, and most people aren't disciplined enough to buy for one week and finish it in that time.
If it were a one and done purchase where the content was at the buyer's disposal at their convenience, these mistakes might be easier to overlook as the issues would probably only be affecting a dozen or so of the 781 questions. And what percentage of the total number of questions available would these issues be affecting? Just kidding. That was a tacky Wonderlic joke. But in all seriousness, to be fair, their prices are much cheaper than most online courses who offer practice questions and mock tests. If they fine tune things a bit, this app would be a very good prep program for those people who are unfortunately still required to take these sorts of examinations. Best wishes.
