A great(!) alternative to that other woodworking calculator
This has the essential functionality that I need to streamline basic fraction math. It also has a handy angle calculator. And, it is NOT a subscription app!!
Glitch
Never a problem until now. I used to see the numerals displayed just above the keyboard and now I don’t see anything until I press the equal key. I then get the sequence of numbers at the top of the screen. Recently updated my iPhone 13 to 18.3.1
Not just fractions … WOODWORKING fractions! And more!
I love this app. Took me a minute to figure out some of the features, like the button to convert decimals to fractions and visa versa. But once I understood that, this became my every day app for the shop.
I use it at the hardwood seller to calculate board feet too.
The only function I never use is the Tape function, still haven’t figured that out even after reading the help. Would love to see a golden ratio calculator and/or a very simple notebook in its place.
But even without the tape feature, I’ll give it 5 stars.

I collect fraction calculators because most of them are lacking the function I need or have silly interfaces. This one is great! I am old and have trouble with small fonts, so I wish they’d make the results show in a bigger font.
Nice app
This app is very handy if you do a lot with fractions. I'm a cabinet builder and use fractions all day. This app is so useful I dedicated an iPad 2, app won't do landscape on iPad 1, to this app and mounted above my workbench. Very easy to use.

Nice app if you need or use fractions this app will make it easy!! It does a lot of other functions that you'll need if your a woodworker.

Really nice app - does much better with fractions than I can do in my head! Easy to use once you get used to the input process for inches and fractions. 2 requests - I would like to be able to enter feet and inches and fractions - and converting from decimal to fractions would be really great

Great for checking fraction calculations. Has saved me from making some erroneous cuts. At the price of good hard wood, it pays for itself pretty quickly.
Simple & Concise
Simple app I use constantly on the iPad while in my shop. Also handy to have while buying wood to see how much 'trouble' I'm getting myself into when at the hardwood store.
