Promising App but failed in the end

The concept was great- protect your pets if something happens to you. Unfortunately the app developer just couldn’t make it work quite right. The timer would recognize that we left our residence but never stop and reset upon return. This resulted in notices of concern from WOOF almost going to the wellness check stage if you didn’t manually shut it down. I worked with Arsy directly over months to try and resolve the issue but to no avail. I tried several phones to eliminate the problem but it was the same result. I am unaware of any other product that will perform this vital task. It was a perfect solution to this nagging concern for our pets but it failed in the end. Please Arsy, get it together.

Used to work… now doesn’t

This seemed to work well, then I auto-renewed but I’d says I need to renew although I already paid. No one answers the phone, chat leave a message. Got an email after a few weeks that it’s being redesigned and done instructions to take in tre meantime, but the instructions are not applicable. In the yea time I’m paying for nothing. It’s been a few more weeks since I last emailed about this and no further reply.

Malfunctions, no response from emailing support

Very disappointed

Love it!

As a senior citizen with no family, this might be a pet lifesaver. I agree with the Sharks though, that the name and dog icon doesn’t work. More people in the US have cats than dogs and many have other types of pets (fish, birds, gerbils, etc) so I really hope you make changes. What about “Ark” which was a safe place for animals?

FAQ

What does the Woof app do?

Woof is designed to provide peace of mind for pet parents by automatically initiating a support system if an unexpected event occurs that prevents them from caring for their pet. It uses geolocation timers to detect when you might be in trouble and triggers a multi-tiered support structure to ensure your pet's well-being.

How does the Geolocation Timer work?

The app features two types of timers: a Geolocation Away Timer that starts when you leave home and a Geolocation Home Timer that starts when you return. If these timers expire without being stopped, it signals that your pet's well-being may be at risk, triggering the app's support structure.

What is the cost of the Woof app?

The app offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial, users can choose a monthly subscription for $2.99/month or an annual subscription for $29.99/year. Promo codes may be available for discounts.

What information is included in the Pet Passport?

The Pet Passport feature within the Woof app captures your pet's important information, including their routines and favorite things. This information is crucial for any caretaker who may need to step in and care for your pet during an emergency.

What happens if my timer expires?

If your timers expire, Woof's support structure is automatically triggered. The app will first attempt to contact you, then your emergency contacts. If your safety and your pet's safety cannot be confirmed, a wellness check will be initiated to your home to rescue your pet.
