About
Name a food starting with H. Go.
Word Duel Now calls out a letter and a category, and two players race to buzz in first. Get it right and you score. Get it wrong and you're locked out of the round — leaving it wide open for your opponent to steal.
HOW IT PLAYS
Every round pairs a required starting letter with a category: an animal, a food, a country, a job, something you wear. Buzz in, type your answer, and the match clock keeps running. Games last 60, 90, or 120 seconds and every second counts.
Answers are checked against a real list for each prompt, so there's no arguing about whether "hummus" counts. It does.
TWO PHONES, ONE MATCH
Play on a single device passing it between you, or connect two phones over the local network. Both screens show the same letter and category at the same instant, and the buzz is timed against a shared clock so the faster player genuinely wins.
PLAY ON YOUR TV
With AirPlay, the letter, category, scoreboard, and countdown go up on the big screen while each phone becomes a private buzzer.
