Word First is first and foremost a deep Bible devotional. App blocking remains entirely optional. This update introduces a refined Modern interface while keeping the familiar Classic look available. Reading, Saved, and Companions actions are now easier to find and use, with calmer confirmations and improved large-text and keyboard behavior. For those who choose to enable focus protection, blocked apps now show one Scripture passage each day, with clearer Return to Home and temporary-unlock guidance. The redesigned Manage Apps screen also explains your privacy before Apple’s private picker opens. The complete devotional, prayer, study, memorization, journal, sharing, and Companions experience remains available without app blocking. Plus: clearer trial terms, accessibility refinements, and reliability improvements throughout the app.
