Not enough 5 letter words

The list of 5 letter words in the free app is short, same words keep repeating. Does the paid app has the same 5 letter words list?

I love that I can play this offline. Most of the time I can guess within 5 tries, but that’s perfect for me. Plus, I can play multiple times a day, not just once. Keeps my mind working and happy!

Absolutely brilliant app!!!

So so happy I downloaded this - brilliant app & perfect for challenging others. 10/10 !!!

Super fun, no data collection, no ads

We have a great time playing this every evening before bed. I really appreciate the developer of this game. It's very fun and I'm not constantly bothered by ads or privacy concerns. Thanks! So rare. Time to upgrade.

YESSSS I LOVE IT !!!

This is brilliant !! No timer !! No against the clock meaning NO ADDED STRESS when playing to try to relax !!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH just what I need finally a game where you can actually relax while playing it !!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

wordex > wordle

Way better than Wordle!!

Repetitive

Fun, but the same words keep appearing too often

Hard to get work done…

It’s an awesome app! It’s like WORDL, but you can play it repeatedly (instead of only once per day.) WORDEX is terribly addictive, sometimes makes it hard to remain productive at work… 😀 Love the extra features. Like how you can make up words and send as challenges to friends, or create words and hand your phone to others to solve. As a side note, the New York Times just purchased WORDL, (since that game has become a global phenomenon), It will be interesting to see how it plays out with similar word games. I really hope WORDEX remains available! Again, awesome app!

Suggestion

I think it would be extremely helpful if you could touch the square you would like to edit without removing the entire word.

Great app

I would give it 5 stars but the colours - background and letter boxes are very hard on the eyes. Too similar and so hard to see.

Put it on my

Oops

Was told after multiple incorrect guesses that correct word was CAINS, which can't be guessed because it isn't a valid word.

Other than that, a good Wordle knock-off.

Brilliant!

Great game to pass the time, and great for long journeys!

More Variety, but fun nonetheless

I found out about these word games a few days ago, and since Wordle is a daily thing, I found wordex to be an amazing app to play with :) super fun.

But after almost playing the game nonstop, I feel like words repeat themselves too often. I’ve seen the words “paint, hotel” and “water” a bit too much. It would be nice if there was more variety to words, or just a way to not repeat words too much.

Fun!

Great implementation and really fun game

New favorite!

If you like Wordle you’ll like this. Also the developer is responsive to suggestions and has already improved some features.

Four letter words

I played 7 times. All 7 times it was a 4 letter word with an S added.

Meh

I played a round, determined the word was “CAINS”, but it wouldn’t let me enter it, saying it wasn’t a real word. And yet, when I gave up, it said the answer was “CAINS”. Now where is the fun in that?

Fun!

Just like Wordle, so, fun. But I wish there was a little more “celebration” when you solve. It doesn’t blink or anything, just immediately pops up a menu to start a new game. Make the right word flash a few times before the next action comes up.

Clear rip off of WORDLE...

...with absolutely no credit given to the original. The attempt to monetize something that was explicitly created as a free gift is cynical and depressing. (WORDLE was first written for the original developer's word game loving partner and then shared with the world.)

The game itself does a good job of emulating the online version and seems to add the capability of playing with a friend.

But it's hard to appeciate an app that seems to have been produced with a complete disregard for the original creator and his motives. A lot of WORDLE's popularity is because, as well as being a great game, it's an act of generosity on the part of the author with no strings attached.

This just makes me sad.
