I absolutely love this dev’s games! I have found a couple of errors in another one of their games (I’ve reported one to them, but need to send the rest!) and when I reached out to let him (Norman) know, he responded within 10 minutes of my email! He was really friendly and seemed genuine and honest imo.
I was a bit skeptical about his generosity with making so many of these games for free AND without ads, which I mentioned to him. Norman explained that he made these apps to be the sort of thing he’d want to play, based on fond childhood memories of similar games with his dad. He also explained that there is an option to pay for more puzzles beyond the initial free rounds (which I have already purchased for his CryptoFamilies app!) and that this allows for some income from the apps, but that the fun of them is most important. I’m working my way through these word searches (on evil difficulty with clues hidden to get the most out of each one!) and am likely to purchase the extension once I’ve reached the limit.
The only suggestion I can think of would be to add a “dark mode” option. It works out okay to use the invert, and smart invert settings on my iPhone with his other app, but with Word Search, inverted colours doesn’t show the words already found in the puzzle very well (come to think of it, I might’ve used “smart invert” and might need to try just “regular invert”!).
The stars show up kinda funny on my iPhone, so just in case I’ve messed it up, or it doesn’t show properly, I give this game, and all of this dev’s games that I’ve come across so far 5 stars! Thank you Norman! Your hard work is appreciated!

Playing the puzzles has changed the way I view the letters. It is fun to see if you can solve them faster and faster with practice. It is addicting and convenient to play. Challenge your brain, stay sharp.
