My favourite game but iOS 18…..
Hopefully the developers are still supporting this game but iOS 18 seems to have bugged it out. I was in the middle of a game when I updated iOS - now pressing “New” crashes the game. Current game still works but can’t end it - just completely shuts down the app when trying.
Great word search game
LOVE this game! I’ve been playing it for 3+ years. However, why are certain words omitted? Example: America isn’t on the list, but Japan and Peru are? And please add mastodon.
Shake to mix really sucks, awkward to do and slows you down

This is the best version as you can change the length of the minimal letters in a word. However, it would be useful to be able to continue a game past the time limit, just to see the possibilities.
Also, it would be helpful to be able to shuffle when it is inconvenient to shake,such as with an iPad
I play against my self so I don't care about competition. I want the game to add to my vocabulary and not just be a addictive way to spend time.
This version does not appear to be in the AppStore, which is sad as the others won't let you eliminate the boring 3 letter words

Good but Flawed
I enjoy this game and it would be 5 stars except for some annoying things.
First, the sound keeps disappearing at random times. The only solution I can find is to delete app from phone, then download from cloud again. Then the sound returns. But then goes away again in another day or two.
Second, the swiping of letters can sometimes be VERY annoying as they don't respond properly or quickly. Slows you down as you're playing.
Third, their dictionary of words is highly suspect. Some real words are not there at all.
But the game recognizes other words that definitely are not words at all. Especially some that are all consonants. It seems to sometimes use proper names, abbreviations, and odd slang expressions, etc. For example, how can things like "cgb" or "trw" or "xtc" or "nps" be words? I've seen dozens of so-called words like this in this game.
The game is still fun and challenging overall, but these 3 issues really hurt its rating.

Fun, but design seems dated and glitchy
Overall, this iteration of Word Shaker is pretty good. The only problem is that selecting letters sometimes is glitchy. Even though you trace a clear path across the correct letters, for some reason, very frequently this app doesn't properly recognize the letters.
The user interface feels really dated as well. I wish I would have purchased the newer version of this app (by the same developer), but with a blue and yellow icon and interface. The newer version does not seem to have any of the issues with letter tracing.

Update killed playability
This was my favourite word app. However, the Oct '16 update for the IPhone has made it too hard to register when a tile has been selected - great game rendered largely unplayable.
A+ Rating
This game is sooo fun! I love that you can choose how long you wish to play. The letters are in an easy-to-read format and the game is "addictive"--in a good way...love it!

Mind enhancing, and numbing
I am addicted to this game, I get stressed I go play a five min game to think of something else and this works great all the different sizes of board and timings are exactly what I need.
Disappointing
I've been looking for a replacement for Boggle for over a year (Boggle no longer available in app store). Tried and purchased more than a few. This one is ok if you don't mind banners running along the bottom touring the latest online winner of something of other. I just want a relaxing game to play on my own; competition with others is NOT relaxing, nor are the color choices for the screens. Not awful; just not Boggle.

I've been playing this game for several years and it only gets better. There are enough levels to keep one's interest, and I love that I can peruse the list of words I missed - great way to expand vocabulary.

I've played just about every word game on my iPad, and this one is my favorite by far. I love playing the un-timed option. Very relaxing.
