Never saves game
I finally decided to go ahead and login with Google in order to save games.
However, if it crashes, I close it, or I even pause it to change a setting, it always makes me start the current game over.
If you don’t want to expect it to save games, you might as well not sign in use any platforms; it does the same thing anyhow.

Excellent game
I was looking for a clever word game without ads and for a download costing only $4.99 Word Wow is totally worth it. Fun, challenging and addictive. I used to play scrabble but the ads got worse and longer and scrabble want $7.99 PER MONTH to remove the ads - definitely not worth it.
Keeps freezing
Halfway down on most games and the screen freezes, very frustrating. Been playing for years and losing the will to continue.

They have changed the layout and now you can’t see all the letters? Terrible design. Also restore purchase does not work and American English is not great!

Love it! Wish it would stop crashing.
I’ve been using this game for a long time. Suddenly, over the past two days, it refuses to open once it’s past midnight. Super weird. I’ve rebooted my wifi and my phone, and it still only works during the day and in the evening. I know how ridiculous this sounds, and I would think so too if this wasn’t happening on multiple occasions when everything about my internet and other apps all work fine. Disappointing.

I thought this game looked like the old bookworm game. And it is to some extent. What I really don’t like is that I can’t just play myself. Every score is my “best score” even though it isn’t. I have no interest in other people’s scores or in competing against them. Seeing just my one score sort of ruins the fun. Am I improving? I have no idea. Making the words and helping the cute worm is engaging I don’t see it being a long term game.

The original Bookworm was my all time favorite and I reviewed and contacted the developer in vain I thought! I’m uncertain if this new version is by the same developer but this version is awesome and I can’t give enough thumbs up and praise! Thank you, thank you!!
Lockdown challenges
I’ve used Word Wow on and off for years but have used it daily since lockdown as not only addictive to beat last score and get as far as possible, it helps my brain focus on one thing rather than all the other challenges in this present lockdown during Coronavirus pandemic.

Great game, but...
the game needs more challenges and the bombs on the bottom right needs to be moved elsewhere. Every time I try to drag the bomb up, the iPhone wants to swipe the game up as if I’m going to close the game or switch to another app.
Addictive, battery eater, weirdly knowledgeable about my life
I’m really not sure what to think. I deleted this paid app from my devices when I started a game and noticed the name of my town and state prominently displayed, in proper order, on the tiles.
Until then, I found the game addictive. It did seem to use up the battery pretty quickly.

Word game lovers, this is THE game for you! You can play for a few minutes or a few hours. It's fun and challenging to play anywhere at any time. The backgrounds for each level are adorable and the worm depends on your success to free him. :)

This fun game is very addictive. I enjoy all kinds of word games, and this one ranks right up there at the top!
Hit - and miss
It's kinda good (and a bit sad) to know that I'm not the only one getting frustrated w the untimely crashes this game has. Granted, it is a fun, challenging game, but just when you think you're going to have a great word or high score, it shuts down - not cool! As others have said, fix the problem, and you'll get a higher rating.
