What is the cat for?

I enjoy this game very much but what is the cat for? My cat bank is full and I have tried to purchase it twice and never got the coins. Not sure about this game now.

Disappointing!

I love this game but I have removed it due to the constant adverts! I understand the need for them but I spent more time waiting for ads to finish than actually playing the game...so disappointing
