Cute app, can’t wait for an update!
I’m looking for a simple and fun way to track and share my writing progress. I love how simple and cute this app is, just wish there were a few updates:
1. I only plan to write on weekdays. So my “daily word count” isn’t calculating correctly for my goals. Instead of 750 words every day, I want to write 1050 words every weekday. The way the app is set up, I can’t track that I’ve logged more than the number calculated.
2. The word deadlines are close, but I have specific word count goals that aren’t available in the options. Wish I could just input my my own wordcount goals!
3. Finally, I wish I could select my deadline goals by calendar day instead of “30” or “60” days.
Bonus - I had already been writing when I found this app, so i was starting with words. Would be nice to show that (although maybe I did? Can’t remember now I’m sorry 😊)
Bonus 2 - sometimes, it’s just easier to put the new total word count instead of tracking the number of words I did. Would be lovely to have this as an input option instead.

Nice app but if I can’t exceed daily minimum in my log it’s a lot less helpful.

Hi! I found the link to this app in your Reddit post, and it has been very helpful to me. Thank you so much.
I love the format and how easy it is to use, but I am wishing there was a way to log that you have written more words in a day than the goal was. Right now the only way seems to be to go in and increase my total word goal until my daily goal is higher than the number I have written, after which I set the total word goal back down to where I want it. Then it will show me that I have written “extra words,” but I am not sure why I can’t just log the extra words to begin with.
Also, despite consistently doing this and logging words beyond my daily goal, which is causing the daily goal to drop more and more each day, there has been an image of a snail telling me I am “falling behind,” and today it said I am “far behind.” I am confused about this as it is inaccurate.
Other than these two things though, the app seems perfect. It is no more complicated than it needs to be, which I appreciate, and it has already gotten me writing every day since I’ve been using it as opposed to only a couple times per week.
I really hope you can fix these couple things as I absolutely love the app aside from them. Thank you for taking the time to make this and making it free to use ( :

Amazing
I have never written a review before but this app is just so good I had to say something. No ads, no useless features. Simple and to the point. The interface is warm and cozy, it makes me excited to track my progress
My one bit of feedback would be that I would like it if you could have multiple projects at one time. As of right now you can only have one project to track or else you would need to reset and start a new writing goal.

Exactly what I was looking for
This is exactly what I needed to track my writing. I also really like the design and think it’s very intuitive.
Just one thing - I have two parallel projects and I’d love to track them both - is there a way you could implement this possibility?

Nice app for indie writers!
It’s so nice of you to create this free app for writers! Previously, I had been tracking my word counts in a notebook, but the app is much easier, especially when I am traveling. I like how it tells you a minimum daily word goal to finish on time.
I do tend to work on multiple projects at once, so it would be awesome if one day you could allow users to track more than one project at a time. But overall, this is very useful and well designed! Nice job!

Great app with lots of potential!
As a software engineer myself, this is really great! It has really clean functionality and it's simple enough to where the user isn't overwhelmed. Obviously there are lots of things that could be added such as a chart, multiple goals at once, etc. but so far it is super duper good and I can't wait to use it to help me write my novel!! Tysm for making this app :)

Great tool for accountability on writing goals
I’m working on a fantasy novel in my spare time for funsies and am part of a writing group. Found this app and shared it with my writing group and a few downloaded and have already said how great it is. I love the little animals representing if you’re ahead or behind, the little alarms to remind you to write and the widget that I can see every time I unlock my phone to remind me - get that X number of words writing done today and you’ll meet your word count aim by your chosen deadline. Great app so far, thank you for making it.

Great starter app
I love this app! It helps me track my daily word count. It also shows me how many words I need for the day to stay on track with my deadline. I only wish I could track multiple projects at the same time. For now, I’m tracking my main story series. Thank you for creating this app!

Thank you JesRenKy! Regarding Multiple Projects - Yes... after talking to some more writers I understood that many of them work on multiple projects simultaneously. So yes... That feature is coming... along with some more awesome features!
Word adding needs to be fixed
Theoretically I like this app, but you can’t add more words per day than your daily word goal which seems very counterintuitive to me. Isn’t the point of setting a word goal for it to be the minimum words written per day and you want to surpass it most days?
