Incredibly Helpful!
I first downloaded this app in early 2024, but I had an unexpected reading hiatus due to some exciting life changes. This app inspired me to return to text-based reading instead of only audiobooks now that I finally have the time and resources to read again. I was dedicated to audiobooks for a long time, but once I started reading again one of the first things I did was go back to this app and pick some dedicated books to read through text. I’m sharing this with all the other bookworms in my life- this is such an amazing tool for vocab maintenance & expansion, and I’m incredibly excited to get back into it! :)

Learning so much
I didn’t realize this app finds words in my reading list. Just have to add them in the app, and it finds the ones right above my level. Even though I have a large vocabulary, I’m learning a lot of new words.

Brilliant App
This is a WOW app for me—one of those rare apps that actually adds value to my life. Based on a quick vocabulary test you take, it identifies words in a book that might be new to you, defines them, and tests you on them. It works at whatever reading level you’re at. I’m working my way through a number of classics and use this before I begin reading so I know what’s coming and won’t need to interrupt the reading flow to look up new words. Whether you read a hundred books a year or just one, it’s invaluable. Earned a spot on my Home Screen.

Great for Expanding Vocab
I was a bit Leary of this app but honestly it does a great job at pulling the vocabulary words that you might need out without giving spoilers. It reminds me a lot of the way we would prepare to read novels in school. I can’t wait to see what new features are coming!
bad app. worse customer service
developer offered me a free book in exchange for taking a survey on the app. i told her things i liked and things i didn’t like, and she then ghosted me. i have reached out multiple times, as i would like the free book she offered. my sister did the survey as well and got a book. it sounds like the developer is bribing people into free good reviews and was mad i was honest. the app itself isn’t great. not engaging.

Just downloaded and incorporating into my learning process….but absolutely love the app experience (very sharp) and I can already see how it will help me up my game. Overall very impressive app!
Makes me a better communicator
As a long time business professional and negotiator, carefully crafted sentences that impart the meaning in an effective, clear manor are of the utmost importance to me. Wordflow helped me increase my subject matter vocabulary, and in turn has made me a more effective communicator.
Just what I’ve been looking for
I’ve been wanting to read more classics, but got so frustrated when reading them I always stopped a few chapters in. This app helps me learn the words before I’m reading. I wasn’t sure it would work, but I’m breezing through books that would have been too arduous for me to read in the past. I am also noticing my vocabulary growing every time I read. Wish I had known about this app sooner!
