Simple to the point, no ads and smooth. I’ve just updated so I haven’t played the updated version yet, but I expect it’s going to also be good. I would like to see where we could change the length of the words to more or less letters… If that’s been done I’ll update my review… If that was previously in the game, I’ve just overlooked it LOL

Needs Better Colour Contrast
The app needs better colour contrast to distinguish between green (letter in correct place) and chosen letters that are not in the word
Better than Wordle
I really enjoy this more than Wordle. Being able to swap out individual letters instead of retyping an entire word is a GAME CHANGER. I do multiple words daily. I have also unlocked the Pro and use an occasional hint and have no ads.

Poor database
I see a lot of four letter words simply with S on the end, which in my opinion is a rather poor core to an otherwise shiny app.

Could you provide some examples? We have made an attempt to remove all the plural words earlier. Are you seeing them on version 2.4?
Addictive little time waster!
Great little game for killing time in doctors offices. I liked it so much I paid for the full version.
game awesome (can‘t test ipad pro buying)
UPDATE: I unlocked pro on my phone and used phone to unlock ipad. The bug was only on the iPad and now can not test to see if bug still exists. Sorry! Game itself is awesome! OLD: This company has a bug whereby you can NOT enter password to buy pro on their apps I have tried. I have put in a bug report before but this time, its requiring me to use some app to send email. So, I type here instead. I had to use iPhone to buy pro.

Excellent app, easy to use and no advertisements interrupting.
Ads
Some of the ads that pop up can’t be closed on my phone bc the X is in the top right corner too far for me to tap it to close the ad. Very frustrating and I won’t keep playing if the ads don’t change.

Fun app but too many ads…
I wish there was a way to remove all of the ads. They interrupt when first beginning the puzzle. I understand the app developers need to make money but please make it possible to pay for the app instead of advertising.
NO ADS
So good without the hideous ads on the other apps and with a nice clean interface which I wasn’t expecting. Highly recommend and encourage everyone to consider buying pro to support the developer.
Addictive word game
I love WordHex and play several times a day. I was most impressed by how quickly the developer fixed a font size issue that I reported too. The new CrossHex mode is fun as well. And no ads! Just a small in app purchase which I eventually did make to unlock seeing the solution when I ran out of guesses.

Colors are terrible
I would like the contrast of colors to be better. I have to play in dark mode to ge able to see the difference between gray and lilac
Crashed my phone
Fun to play until it froze my phone and I had to do a hard restart. I’ve never had that problem with any other app.

Sorry to hear about that. I don’t think the app is capable of crashing a device like that. It’s probably just unfortunate that it happened while the app is running.
I wish they would give you the word if you run out of tries.
There is no reason to hide behind a pay wall. I won’t stay with this too long but it’s been fun for a few days.

Thanks for the fast fix on displaying the status of multiples of a single letter. This game really makes me think about the structure of words in a new way (and making me more strategic in Scrabble).

Good implementation, nice way to share puzzle w others
Great app - like Wordle and can change individual letters without deleting from the end of a word. Also has a nice way to share your guesses but not the final word so you see if your friends can also guess from the clues you used.
Also if you guess a letter twice in one word but it only appears once, it will correctly highlight the first and skip the second. One small bug is that it then unhighlights that letter in the alphabet display below when it should remain highlighted.
