Dark theme please

Hello devs I would like to play this as I love word puzzles but you’ve got too bright - colours.

Please give us a dark theme. Not everyone is able to stand such brightness.

When adjustments are made I can revise my review.

Stellar Anagramming Fun

An excellent anagram game. The cards system is both a source of hints (“There’s a word you can make that fits this card!”) and a challenge (“Can you think of a word that fits this card?”). It’s a brilliant idea that tests anagramming skills and word knowledge.

Great word game!

I play this game every day for some mind sharpening time. The animation is delightful too. It’s fun and challenging. The only thing that I can’t quite understand is the ranking/ job title system. The promotion/ demotion changes seem random (to me). It’s a bummer when I pop in to play and I’ve been demoted. Hyper-sensitive? Me? 😁

Glad you’re enjoying the game! Check out the “Ladder” section of the leaderboards. They show the promotion and demotion zones for the corporate ladder and a countdown to the end of the weekly promotion cycle. Gotta keep ahead of your peers to climb the corporate ladder! -David

Enjoyable, fun, soothing

The letter wheel has been used in many other games eg Wordscapes but the addition of conditions and clues adds some challenge and interest. The graphics are very nicely done too and the little monster is cute.

Love the game

I love the game. It’s super challenging but I hate that you have to pay for hints or watch a 2 in 1 add. I also think that it’s unfair that certain words aren’t accepted but others are. Overall a super great game!

Really Helps With Anxiety

I rarely ever leave reviews on games but I downloaded this one a few days ago on a whim and it’s been so great for my anxiety. It gives me something gentle/relaxing to focus on and I like that you can change the difficulty at any time. If the challenge is too much I can drop back down to normal for awhile. The animations are adorable, the concept is easy to pick up on and I like that you can watch ads for hints so it’s wallet friendly too. I like the developer so much I’m downloading some of their other games too.

Great game! Some suggestion from a non native speaker

I really enjoy this game! The level of difficulty is just right so you would scratch your head while also have fun. The design is also cute and catchy

Some suggestion I have…
* if the words definition can be seen by tapping on the word after clearing a level that would be super helpful
*words that have missing letters are depicted as A…B, which I thought is missing 3 letters instead of 1. But that might be just me nitpicking :p
*the resolution of the blue pudding (sorry I didn’t find its name) is lower than the background. Which makes it a little blurry to see

Great game!

Came across this game randomly and thought I’d give it a try. I’m extremely picky and it’s rare for me to find a game I keep.
But I just love Wordjamacallit!!
So fun!! Totally addictive. It’s challenging in a different way than other word games, and almost has the feel of playing a board game or card game with friends. It’s nice to be able to play just a level or two if you have a quick wait, or level after level if you have time to really get going. Love the cute graphics as well! I highly recommend.

Good game for ages 8+

I understand it gets more challenging as you play more levels, but it’s too easy in the beginning. It’s a game I’d let my 8 & 10 yr old play. Also, why don’t we get a chance to find all the word combinations? That would be more challenging. It’s not hard enough to keep my attention.

The game does get challenging and most players enjoy the gradual ramp in difficulty and can play through the easy levels pretty quickly. I do understand some would prefer to jump ahead immediately, though, so I’m working on a new feature to allow you to choose a difficulty level right from the start. We’re discussing details of the feature on Discord now and I’d love to have your input! I also understand there’s an expectation that this kind of game is simply about enumerating all of the possible words that can be made with the letters on the wheel, but Wordjamacallit offers a new kind of challenge that is about coming up with the perfect word that satisfies the clues on multiple cards. So the challenge isn’t simply to complete the game, but to do it with the fewest number of words for the highest combo score. Try the coffee break game to see how you stack up against other players. Yes, everyone finishes the game eventually, but you’ll see that good players score much higher. Good players also climb the corporate ladder much faster with fewer games played. I hope that once you understand Wordjamacallit is a new kind of game about finding the perfect word rather than just any word, you’ll enjoy the additional challenge it offers.

Better than the promoted ones

There are some word making games that are heavily promoted with ads. This one is much better than those: more mechanics, nicer art, cuter character.

The card mechanic theoretically encourages you to do more than just put down whatever words you get. Although, I’m only on level 12 so I haven’t hit a reason to hold on to my bingo words (all letters) just yet.

I love the challenge of trying to create words also the forehead slap after seeing all the words you missed. Also banner ads instead of videos is a plus plus

Wrong hints

The hints are wrong and the solution isn’t what the “hint” is saying, not even close. Buggy app, don’t download. If they reach out and let me know it’s fixed then I will update my review after checking.

Sorry to hear you found the game confusing. You can enter any word that matches the clue on a card to collect the card. You do not have to use the hint word. The hint word is just one of potentially many words that can be used with a card.
