How many levels are possible?

My husband and I both have this game. We are at different levels. I cannot figure out the puzzles to save my life. It is very annoying to try a word that is not accepted, only for it to be accepted after a couple of tries. My biggest problem is that the game stops at level 6000. I got a message that said that new levels would be added soon. What is the timeframe on that?
