Continues Going Downhill
Update: Sadly, since my prior review below, it just continues to get worse. Years ago when I first began playing, it was pretty much a five star app, but it just keeps going downhill. It hasn’t been updated in years and it shows. More often than not, when it shows plays have been made and it’s waiting for me, there are no games showing up in the “Your Moves” tab. Even if I close the tab or the app repeatedly, nothing shows up. They’re all still in the “Their Move” tab. Then suddenly they are there another time when I open it and it shows the plays were made numerous minutes to hours prior. Additionally, the algorithms continue to worsen. I have opponents with whom it should be pretty even when it comes to our records but yet they are ridiculously skewed either in favor of me or them. If we were playing the board version there’s no way we’d have the record we have.

I’ve grown weary of the obvious cheaters, the rude players and functionally issues. Within the last week or so, I no longer see when it’s my turn to move even though notification settings are still set as they’ve been for years. Also, words not found in dictionary are acceptable. Not sure they care to maintain the app anymore.

No Longer Great

I am finding that in the last 2 weeks persons are playing the game with me and at same time asking
No one seem to be playing. It’s very slow.
No interference
Great game! No ads, no glitzy unnecessary animation, no “bonus this” and “bonus that” just a clean game with good players. The owner is responsive to problems and suggestions.
Good but needs bug fixes
I have been playing this hame for years but I have noticed one annoying bug... When you are playing with your letters, sometimes you find a good word to use for your next turn. When your turn comes the app occasionally swaps out your letters and you end up losing a couple that you had and gaining a couple that you did not originally have. It's like you have swapped them yourself, but you haven't! Yesterday I had a 7-letter word ready to go, using a blank tile, only to find that the blank mysteriously disappeared when my turn came! Very annoying!!!
Also the dictionary needs updating as words like "vape" not yet allowed.

Customer service - on deaf ears!
I am very disappointed in Jeff Cole. He has not responded to my emails about two serious problems. It has been 2-3 months. The website says 2021. Did he sell out to microsoft?
Poor Dictionary
Too many valid words aren’t in the dictionary and there is no mechanism to have this corrected (e.g., boolean, estimand, etc.).
I am finding
No one seem to be playing. It’s very slow.
No more notifications
Could be a great alternative to the other word game, but notifications stopped working a long time ago - really unfortunate. I like that you can pay a little for no ads. The ad situation in the other word game is super annoying, and requires a monthly subscription to remove ads - no thank you. Please fix the notifications issue on this game, and it would be 5 stars for sure!

Certainly 4 years ago this game was better. The letter draw from the bag no longer seems random, like the algorithm decides early in the game who the winner will be. It’s frustrating.
The game is still addictive, but has suffered IMO despite bug fixes, because of some of the other changes that’ve been made. If it doesn’t improve soon, I’m giving it up for a classic Scrabble alternative.
I’m writing this review to provide feedback because, among other things, the option to email the developer is also now harder to find.

Don't bother
The rating system is defunct. If you email the creator he will never respond back. And the game is wreaking with cheaters. don't bother. Also, the game wreaks of cheaters.
Need a “Chat Turn Off” button!!!

Pretty good
Dictionary needs to be expanded, and scoring system is off. Also, I play on phone and iPad, phone is fine, but iPad holds old games on it that I cannot delete or play. Would like to get them cleared.
Great Cross Platform Word Game
I’ve been playing this game for over 6 yrs on both windows phone and iPhone. I’m happy developer supports all platforms. I recently switched to iPhone and my game was waiting for me. Thanks for supporting app for more than six yrs.

When I switched from a Windows Phone to an iPhone, I was so glad this app would still be available to me.
Clean UI, all the features a Scrabble app should have, and in the rare case where you find an issue, you can easily report it, and it's fixed quickly.

Yikes!
Love the game, but after downloading latest version it is stuck in landscape mode and board is using 1/4 of the screen, making it unuseable on my iPad.
