About
Find the next word before time runs out. Word Score turns random letter grids into a fast-paced challenge where every accepted word adds points, clears tiles and resets the countdown.
BUILD WORDS FROM THE GRID
Tap letters in any order to create words of three letters or more. Tiles do not need to be next to each other, so scan the entire board for possibilities. Submit a valid word to score points based on its letter values, remove those tiles and keep the round moving.
• Select letters from anywhere on the board
• Build and submit words with at least three letters
• Earn points according to each letter’s value
• Clear used tiles after an accepted word
• Keep searching until time expires or no valid word remains
BEAT THE COUNTDOWN
You have 60 seconds to find each valid word. Every accepted submission resets the timer, giving you another chance to extend the round and raise your score. Quick finds keep the game alive, while careful board scanning can uncover higher-value combinations.
CHOOSE YOUR GRID
Pick the board size that suits your next challenge:
• Standard — an 8 × 7 letter grid
• Advanced — a larger 12 × 8 letter grid
Both modes use the same word-building rules, while the Advanced board gives you more letters to explore.
FOLLOW YOUR PROGRESS
Signed-in players can save gameplay statistics and see how their best performance develops. Review your highest score, total points, words played, play time and longest word. The leaderboard ranks players by highest score, giving you another target for future rounds.
REVISIT YOUR WORDS
Word History keeps a record of submitted words for signed-in players, together with their points and game mode. Tap a saved word to look up available definitions and revisit vocabulary discovered during play.
PERSONALISE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Choose between light and dark themes, and use the in-app How to Play guide whenever you need a reminder. The interface supports English, Spanish, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, German, Hindi and Korean.
Word Score is designed for portrait play and supports both iPhone and iPad. Open the grid, find your first word and see how long you can keep the countdown running.
