Great
Amazing application for reading a literature in foreign language. Free and easy-to-use with comfortable user interface. Most likely it’s the best app in this space.
Thank you! You have made my reading routine much better

The app you’ve been looking for
If you type your favorite words on your notes app to look up later, STOP! Put them here! It’s so easy to do while reading and you can go back and review whenever
Perfect App to Pair with my Books
I downloaded many dictionary apps this is the exact app I was looking for. It categorizes words based on books. It provides definitions, word usages, trends, and examples. It’s amazing, intuitive, and no nonsense. As a developer, I’ll also support solo developers. Great work and looking forward to future updates.

Great app! Amazing for reading
Amazing for reading: you can take a picture of the page you are reading and it will tell you the word’s meaning in that specific context. With etymology and frequency of use and time period where it was used the most - which is very useful if you are still learning the language. Super recommended!
Actually amazing
I’d like to start off by thanking you guys for making this free. I wanted an app where I could put new words I learn, into flashcards and study them. You guys nailed it. Thank you
Wonderful
I love this app, it has been most helpful, in helping learn new words and their meanings
Five star
App is so good, idk why its still free, better than 99 of other apps
App of the Year
By far one of the coolest apps I’ve ever gotten on my phone. I may be overshooting, but do you guys plan on “gamifying” Wordshelf via adding achievements and the ability to add friends and see their profile? I would love to have such features added.
Insanely good
It’s the goat really
Just what I was looking for
Exceptionality clean UI that leads to an enjoyable user experience.
It includes all the features I was hoping for and they function well. Quite frankly I can’t believe it’s free.

Response from developer
Appreciate it! We are working on building some additional premium features, but those will be optional features to whats available now.
Almost the perfect app
It has the best layout, not overwhelming or over complicated like other apps, does not shove Ai, adds, or payment plans in your face every time you use it. The app has feedback section in it, which is responded to in a timely manner, with friendly conversation and discussion on improvements. They will even add new words upon request. This app does use AI, or is “Ai-powered” whatever that may mean and I’m not the biggest fame, but I’m not in control of the evolution of Ai old it’s integration into everyday things. Overall with time and feedback from people who use it regularly it will continue to improve if they continue this acceptance of feedback.

Great app , it could use better and clearer pronunciation for the words looked up.
Response from developer
Really appreciate this, thank you! Clearer pronunciation was something we took to heart, and v1.10 just went out with a big improvement to exactly that. Reviews like yours are what point us in the right direction, so please keep the feedback coming.
So good!
