Developer No Longer Updating
It’s non stop problems with this app now. All of us are getting kicked out non stop. It will no longer recognize the log in. I think this is because they haven’t updated it in 5 years. Not sure. I would move along and not bother with this one now. It was great 10 years ago.

Great most of time. Makes you sign back on every so often as it try’s to make you use Facebook. Also has prob with internal errors.
Cannot use anymore
2 or 3 days ago this app just stopped working.I cannot login with Facebook or create an account to login with Wordsmith. And every time I try to login it just closes the app. I’ve been using it for years and I love the game,But now I’m just not able to use it at all anymore.

Won’t let me play with random people
It is disappointing that it gives me the option to play with random players but nothing happens when I choose that option.

This game needs improvement. It runs slowly, even with all other apps are not running in background. The notice that pops up in game every time another player makes a move, is annoying. This game needs help .

Game invitations
On the iPhone it is easy to miss game invitations when you have several notifications stacked up - you only see the last notification if you select cancel to that notification. It would be great if there was away to see a list of all notifications or a separate tab for your pending game invites.

This game has always been my favorite scrabble-esque game from an interface standpoint, but for the first time in a long time it actually loads without freezing/crashing constantly. I'm prepared to recommend it again; thank you dev(s)!

Wish wordsmith had Apple in their dictionary
First let me say I love the game. I play the same four players to the point where we are cordial. Win or lose the game is enjoyable.
But this game causes me problems. i cannot go days without removing the re downloading the game back in my iPhone 4 and iPad 3. Why don't wordsmith staff figure out how to correct this? If I don't like the game I would just end it.
I give it a two because of the freezings. If you correct the problems ill give it a 5. But obviously the problems can't be corrected.

Locks Up on iPad
Very very frequently locks up, freezes when trying to play on iPad 2. PLEASE debug and update. Have to delete and reinstall frequently.. Takes the fun out of it.

Loses one star for not having landscape mode.
This has the cleanest display of any of the similar word games out there. No annoying sounds or distracting pop ups. Even the free version's ads are not intrusive. The game play is top notch with rules to keep it professional, though the DW spaces are too close together in a couple of places, in my opinion. The developers are responsive and professional. The only thing missing is a landscape view for iPad, and lately badges show all the time even when there is not a play.

Loved this app...
Up until a few months ago. Since then, I have handsome many games started and not been able to finish any of them. No matter how many times I try to submit a move the app just hangs. Many of my opponents have resigned thinking I am no longer playing. Disappointing and frustrating to say the least... Fix it, please!

WAS Ok!
I play this and WWF both, and this is definitely more challenging. It eliminates the endless combinations of playing letters trying to get a "lucky" word (limit of 3 tries or lose your turn). However, lately when I try to move a tile to the board it "FREEZES" in midair, unable to be moved! Refreshing gets the game going but the letter has vanished. Lost some good words that way. My advice: don't buy it like I did. Use the free version until this and other bugs discussed here are FIXED!

Great app, landscape?
I think this is a great app and a great substitute for words with friends. Is it at all possible to get it to be able to go landscape? That is my only hope for an upgrade.
Okay, but trouble submitting
The game itself is fine, nothing special, just a different colored board for WWF. But after that fact, I have an iPad 2, would like to play more, but often when I try to submit a word, chat, or refresh, I get the message that's it's doing whatever, but it never does, just locks up the whole game! Then I try to find a place to write support, ; still haven't located that. I guess they don't want to hear from us. :-(
