Excellent help for word games I play. Don’t know how I’d manage without it now.
Helps in a bind
I'm probably saying this to assuage my conscience, but I only use this when I feel like I'm backed into a corner. I have had some suggested WWF2 words not be accepted by the game but overall I find it very helpful.
I'm sure keeping up to date is challenging and I recommend this app to help with word games.

Reset button needed
Works great, it comes up with most of the words that stump me. The one thing I’d really like to see added is a reset button
Definitions
Why are there so many words that you don’t have definitions for?

Update: In response to your new question, the Wordsolver App doesn't have any word definitions at all as the app would be huge if we did. Instead Wordsolver simply asks the phone's built-in dictionary if it has a definition for a word and displays it if it does. I hope that helps. Happy Wordsolving!
Double check for “words with friends games”
While this is a valuable tool for playing some games, MANY of the words listed are counted as “invalid” when I play “Words with Friends2.” It’s disconcerting because I paid $9.99 for the “Pro version” and many words are not accepted. I wish I could find an app that will allow actual words they provide the spelling for. This defeats the whole purpose for paying this RIDICULOUS fee!! 😡😞

All words are not included
Several times I have found that there are words that can be made which are not included in the list of words. Today it was tucuxi which is a type of dolphin but again, there have been others. Otherwise, this is a great app. It is a tremendous help.

Caps
App needs to restore the caps in the search box. Caps are much easier to read than the small letters.

Best so far the only improvement would be to not have words in it that Words with Friends doesn’t accept as an acceptable word. However this one has fewer unacceptable words.

Functional, but has annoying bug and needs enhancements
This application is very basic and is functional. However, it has a couple of annoying data-entry bugs, and it needs to be enhanced for better useability and functionality, especially for the paid version.
1. The main screen has a single field for entering the search letters. However, the field insists on caps. If you forget to turn the all caps on, you will have to type each letter twice!! The first time switches it to capital, and the second actually types it in the field. To bypass this bug, turn on the caps before typing in the field. This is idiotic! It's an easy bug to fix. Either don't require all caps, or automatically convert the letters to caps as they are entered. Don't force the user to remember to turn caps on, or to have to type each letter twice. Please fix this quickly. It's aggravating.
2. The filter to allow for "starts with, ends with, contains" is only seen AFTER you submit your search, and it's at the very bottom of the results page. If you have a special keyboard, it can cover the filter, which means that you would never see it, as it happened to me. I noticed it after switching keyboards. To have it on the results page is NOT intuitive. To have it where it can be covered up by a keyboard is POOR DESIGN. You have LOTS of open free space on the main page. Please move it to the main page, under the search field. That would make it more intuitive and more useable.
3. Add better filtering capabilities. For example, "??sa?g" would search for a word where the third and fourth letters are "sa" and the sixth letter is "g". It should not be that difficult to add this enhancement.
4. Add the capability to submit reviews and to provide feedback or report a bug. Don't you want to hear from your users and improve your app?
You only get two stars because of the above. I'm happy to modify my review if you make these updates. It would also get you more sales. Hint! Hint!

Maiden Review
I'm honored to be first critic. Welp this version is buggy of course and I know it will get fixed. Good enough for me!
After using this app for a month it's pretty much junk. ? letters appear sporadically, there is no Pattern Mode, definitions for hard words? Nope. Back to browser version until it gets better.
(3 months later) still ok. Word list not updated. Chillax not included yet so I dunno what other words are not here.
