Scripture Memory

I have been searching for an app to help with scripture memorization. This is perfect. Thanks.

Scripture Memory: I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am for this resource. My confidence in memorizing scripture dropped to the lowest of depths upon finding out I am neurodivergent. My mind races constantly. I had gotten to a place of surrender “because God knows my heart”. However, in learning to cope with my new diagnosis I desperately wanted to have God’s own words stored in my heart. Not only is this app helping me to do this-it has also helped in improving my prayer life!

Thank you for sharing something so personal. This means more than I can say. What you described, going from feeling like memorization was out of reach to actually having God's words stored in your heart is exactly why this app exists. And hearing that it's also strengthened your prayer life is such a gift as well. That's the Word doing what it does, taking root beyond just recall. Grateful you're here, and grateful you shared this. Praying it keeps being a source of confidence for you.

Great Scaffold for those with memory issues!

As a special educator I know that practice and retrieval are important for retention, learning, and spiritual growth. However, issues with memory and recall is a great barrier to achieving that spiritual development as you cannot implement what you cannot recall. WordStrong. Is an incredible tool for practice and recall. With this tool I can, as King David said, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review and for the perspective you bring as a special educator. You're exactly right that recall is the real barrier; reading a verse and being able to draw on it in a moment of need are two very different things, and that gap is what WordStrong was built to close. Psalm 119:11 is at the heart of why this app exists, so it means a lot to see it show up in your review. Thank you for using it and for taking the time to share this.
