About
Do you recognize English words when you read them, yet they won't come to you when you speak? Wordveil is for learners stuck at intermediate: it reinforces the English you already know until you can use it.
Every level is a real quote with its letters turned into numbers: from famous thinkers, writers and leaders, and from books. Cracking it pulls words from memory; when you get stuck, the "Meaning?" bubble shows what the word means in that line. Short quizzes and spaced review bring each word back just before you forget it.
• 1,300+ of the most common English words and phrases; the very basic ones (week, book) are skipped
• Easy, Medium and Hard: three tracks from A2 to B2, over 2,700 levels
• Every word with its meaning in your language, pronunciation and an example sentence
• False-friend notes (words that look like one in your language but mean something else) and notes on words people mix up (say or tell?)
• Four question types: choose the meaning, find the English, fill the gap, listen and write
• Word Book, Quotes collection and favorites
• Daily streak and keys; Sign in with Apple keeps your progress on every device
