Not as random

The game seems to be set up to Ware most of the value point letters are exhausted at the beginning of the game ending up with mostly balls at the end. Many times when I played the actual game of Scrabble on our dining room table, I almost always started with four or more vowels. Also, the chance that you never draw a vowel at the beginning of the game has been eliminated.

Good Tutorial

My girlfriend and I learned using this app, and we will pay for premium if we become famous Scrabble champions! Sometimes I use the screen reader if the remaining tiles don't fit on my small phone, so thanks for accessibility ๐Ÿ‘

I appreciate the game butโ€ฆ

Too many bugs not to mention how irritated I get when the game doesnโ€™t accept what is an actual word, but I continue to play the game because thereโ€™s no other like it

Response from developer

Wordvoyance uses the NASPA dictionary, which is used for tournament Scrabble. Whatever they say goes, regardless of our review score here. Beyond that, be aware the rules dictate that all crosswords must be valid words as well.

Great game, very very accessible.

I was told about this game by visually impaired person. I am also visually impaired and the game is brilliant. I absolutely love it.

Thank you! Tell everyone you know. The more people playing this thing, the more we can afford to improve and expand upon it.

Great game

I would absolutely love to give this game a five star rating. I love that it doesnโ€™t have any ads and I really appreciate that there is a tutorial. I have not tried to play any of the games yet besides the tutorial and it would be awesome if the following updates could be made. I would absolutely love it if you can make it where you could swipe left right up or down throughout the areas on the grid to lay the tile. When I play it, you can only swipe left to write like on the word that you are made on the game board to play goopy. You can swipe from G to O to to P to Y but if one would put golf you could not swipe downward from G pound to a to L to F. So when I have to change the position of where I want to drop the tile, I canโ€™t simply just drag it and drop it because of that issue. I can select what tile I want to go on and then I can place it. It would be easier if an update could be made where you can swipe all over the grid. otherwise I would give this game a five star rating.

There are a few suggestions we have for playing vertically. You can find more details in the game manual, but in overview it's this: 1 - Use the board cursor. Activating any board space once points it right, twice points it down. Then, activating any tile places that tile at the cursor and moves forward. 2 - Enable Vertical Navigation for your VoiceOver rotor. When set to Vertical Navigation, you can indeed swipe up and down to navigate in those directions.

An awesome and completely accessible scrabel game

This is a fantastic game that can be played by anyone. Completely accessible for the blind and visually impaired and available on multiple platforms. This game makes it easy and fun to play scrabel anywhere you go. The developer is amazing and always open to suggesttions to make the game even better. The best game of its kind I have ever played. There is even a host of bots to practice your skills against before you start playing with friends, family or total strangers.

This means a lot to us. Thank you. Tell your friends!

This the best word game I have found for the blind. I like that is close to scrabble

I'm really pleased with this game I was really surprised it's really hard to find a good word game for the blind close enough to scrabble I wish you would come out with something like Scrabble as well I love those games and it makes your mind work and that's the best kind of games for a blind person thank you

Loving the game๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you so much for making this game voiceover accessible, was looking for a challenging word game, something like this, and I canโ€™t get enough of it, I love the game a lot, itโ€™s a bit pricey, $4.99 a month and because of this I can only play one game at a time, and because of this now I have to wait for the other person to take their turn, sometimes it takes them almost a day, can you be a little bit more open minded about the $4.99 a month price, especially for those of us with fixed incomes, not to mention living in a time where the economy is bad, and not to mention there are not very many voiceover accessible games, especially weird games, but thank you anyways for the game thatโ€™s supposed to say word games lol

Thank you for the praise! I can shed some light on our reasons for the pricing structure. First, ads are awful and they're only getting worse. Given our commitment to blind users, schools, and young families, in addition to just wanting to avoid the terrible user experience of modern day ads, we chose the ethical stance to make the game without them. What we did instead is something that hasn't been tried before, to our knowledge. Those who subscribe (or opt for the lifetime purchase) become ambassadors of a sort. Any game created by a Pro user will not count toward anyone's free game limit. For instance, a parent can pay once and create unlimited games with her children. As such, any user who cannot afford the game will still be able to enjoy the game without ads and get invited to games by pro players without limit all while allowing us to keep the servers alive. To that end, come join us on Discord, Reddit, Facebook, or anywhere else and start making friends. There are tons of pro players excited to invite you to some games, and many of them are quite a challenge. Just shout out your username and people will send friend requests.

Very fun and highly addictive scrabble โ€“ like game

I have been beta testing this game for about a month, maybe two, and have become quite addicted to it. It's very fun. Sometimes, some of the words it considers to be words are questionable, but it doesn't matter. I especially like the single player mode, when we can play against a bot. It has four different bots you can choose from, and in general, I will play with the beginner or intermediate. The other two but just end up making me mad and frustrated, but maybe someday, I will appreciate that challenge. Anyway, I very, very highly recommend this game.
