What's New in Wordy

3.0.4

September 10, 2026

Wordy now works with Siri, Spotlight and Apple Intelligence. JUST ASK "Hey Siri, start my daily lesson in Wordy" opens your next lesson. "Practise words in Wordy" lets you name the words you want to drill. "Review my words in Wordy" brings back the words that are due. Siri understands these in all 26 languages supported by Wordy. TRANSLATE WITHOUT OPENING THE APP Say "Wordy, translate", then the word. Siri answers with the translation and offers the film scenes where people actually say it. The app opens only if you want to watch the scenes. FIND THE SCENE "Search Wordy for adiós" jumps to the clips where that word is spoken. Saved words now appear in Spotlight with their translation, one tap away from practice. SAVE WHAT YOU SEE On iOS 27, Siri knows what is on your screen. Ask it to save the word in the subtitle you are reading or on the card in front of you. UNDERSTAND ANY WORD Tap a word while watching for Explain, Examples and Grammar, generated with Apple Intelligence on Private Cloud Compute, so your data stays yours. Reverso, Glosbe and Wiktionary are one tap away. LEARNS YOUR RHYTHM Finish a lesson at your usual time and Siri Suggestions start offering the next one just when you tend to study. Siri features require iOS 26 or later. On-screen awareness, in-app search from Siri and the AI tabs require iOS 27. Update, then just ask.

User reviews

It’s an ok app I guess

This is a very nice app but the video content is extremely violent lots of gore and more adult content, not the nicest thing to watch while trying to learn a language. Otherwise love the format it’s a very good idea.

Scam

Stupid app that uses AI, mispronounces words constantly and helps in no way with real learning. Was tricked into buying a month’s worth thinking I was agreeing to a 7-day free trial.

.

C’est bien mais une version gratuite ?

Terrible

You have to pay for the app on the 2nd lesson and over all is to much money

Great app

So I’ve been using the app a little over a month now and I have been really enjoying it. The review especially helps me remember
