Recently dived into this app after seeing it on socials. And honestly I love it. Keeps me in check
Deleted my captions š
I tried using the desktop version to plan my carousel post. I had all the pics uploaded and wrote a caption for each slide. When I changed the scheduled date and went back to review it, all the writing and prep I had done was gone šš I didnāt back it up either. Would be a great feature but I canāt trust fully planning without a backup notes file for all my captions. Or would love to know as a user if our work gets backed up to a cloud and thereās a way to recover it.

To answer your question: yes, everything you plan in Workhorse saves to the cloud automatically as you work, so nothing lives only on your device. What you describe should not happen when changing a post's date, and we'd like to look at your account directly to get to the bottom of it. If you're open to that, email us at team@workhorsehq.co. Canāt use without payment?
Thereās no way to trial the app, just expects an immediate payment. Thereās loads of free planners out there on websites like canva and notion. I wouldnāt bother with this.
Broken (promises)?
I was expecting exactly whatās shown in the description and images above but when I logged in, all I could do was press a āplan nowā button that takes me to the āpay nowā screen. Literally - thatās all you can do. Not trial period. No test drive. And asa far as I can tell - no mention whatsoever of the whole āswipe through portfoliosā and āget matched with opportunitiesā features shown in the description.
I donāt think theyāre trying to bait and switch us. Iām a Julia fan and donāt think thatās her style - maybe there was a glitchy update or something?

just use Notion instead
An option to have a free trial would have prevented me from leaving this review, but since I paid for my hard-earned money for the app, I feel compelled to share that I canceled my subscription after less than a day. AI seems inferior to anything I can already do in other AI tools I use... The planner itself is just a pretty branded calendar template. I can use Notion for free and do everything that this app does there, and more, free of charge. Personally, I wanted to support the creator but did not find any substantial value in this product.

Expected better!
The app is too buggy. Phone and desktop versions donāt integrate simultaneously. The UI for the desktop version shouldnāt be open to public yet. Itās also weird that when you move a scheduled post to a different day, the accompanying story ideas donāt move with it. Honestly, itās too time consuming to make changes. The app looks pretty and offers great ideas and space for content creators to plan specifics but its functionality is extremely lacking at this point in time.

i do like the planner but
imo it's a bit pricey for if you want to use the planner only. i had to pay 9,99ā¬ bc for some reason it didn't convert 9,99$ to the usual ā¬ amount (which is always less than usd) and 9,99ā¬ a month is a lot for a planner. it would be really nice if there were an option to only use the planner if you don't need any of the other features (hiring a social media manager etc).
i also want to give a little credit, though. i reported a bug in the app and it was visibly fixed in the next update, which was really nice! :)

I have downloaded so many damn planning apps and have never looked back at them past MAYBE 2 times. I am obsessed with this. Julia crushed it, every detail, and the juice she gives in it??? Puhhhlease. It's seriously unmatched I am SOOOO grateful. I could cry. Thank you.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
10/10. iām an avid planner and need to have everything mapped out and this organizes it within a central point. i manage content for companies as well as my person account. perfect for planning. i will say this is a perfect planner for organizing thoughts, ideas, and strategies. i still use another app to schedule the post or i post manually. My only note: would love to see a shot list addition here!!

Rubbish app. Really disappointed
The app sucks. $9.99 a month for access when I could buy a planner as a one off payment and use that

Tbh; the efficiency and effectiveness of the apps features are top tier. The only thing I suggest is for a desktop version of the app that connects to the mobile version. I do more of my content planning + creation on my Mac for the bigger screen. Otherwise: Workhorse is everything you need to plan your most successful outcomes.

A waste of money
A trial of some sort wouldāve been helpfulā¦ this was difficult to figure out and not worth it.
Too many glitches
Kept getting error messages, nothing would save, on one page it has the correct content pillar but then on the other page it has a completely different one. Grid planner didn't work either. I thought it would help my content planning but it just stressed me and wasted my time. I reached out but got zero response.

Loveeeeee this planner
Itās honestly the perfect social media content planner app, I love the way itās laid out! I wish we could access the digital planner on desktop, hopefully that will be available in the future!
5 stars but some requests
Giving this 5 stars bc it literally has so much potential and I am a fan of Juliaās work. I would love to use this for my content creation and would like to let her know my suggestions!!! 1.) Need to be able to go to an already passed day on the ātasksā and check off things. Right now it says (past date) and is greyed out. 2.) need to be able to add more than just one content post per day to the planner. Perhaps create a ādoneā button after inputting your info so that u can obvi move onto the next one. 3.) describe/give suggestions for the pillars 4.) optional notifications reminders to post!

Grid planner issues
I am really liking this app but the grid planner will not stop glitching. Photos will not stay in place, photos I delete reappear, when I add photos others vanish.
It is a very good app
It is a really good and organized way to plan my content. I just wish i could customize what type of content I am trying to film instead of only having a few selections š
